Me: nooooo the U.P. You know mackinaw island?
Cousin: yea that's in Canada isn't it?
Me: *facepalm* no their are two parts in Michigan the mitten/lower peninsula and the Upper peninsula
Cousin: are you sure cuz michigan is only one state
