Slim Bob & Lili vs Marduk & King

Lili's POV

"Robert, we have a match today"

*snore*

"Rob?"

*snore*

I had woken up early today to practice my flexibility and wanted to test Robert's speed because someone had to go against King and leave the other against Marduk's behemoth strength. To wake up Robert, I had to appeal to some sense so I blasted Steve Austin's theme of glass breaking and he rose so fast he gave himself a headache. Then I turned off the music and started to the basement.

"What's up Lili?" he said in a sleepy tone.

"We fight King and Marduk today and I made a plan to make it easier on us so they don't wear us out. Since I'm fast like King, I can battle him with speed and flexibility. You, however, must fight Marduk."

With that sentence, I had to catch Robert before he hit the floor in fear. Marduk was a big guy but while they have strength and power, Robert has speed that Marduk does not. Sebastian came down, wearing sweats and a Tee.

"I will battle you as a warmup. Think of me as Marduk." Sebastian said.

They stood at the ends of the basement and I yelled "FIGHT!"

Robert ran up and tried to do a haymaker but hesitated and in response was roundhouse kicked to the floor. "If you hesitate against Marduk then your loss is guaranteed" Sebastian scolded. Sebastian tried to do a cross body dive to Robert but was caught and power slammed hard. Sebastian took the fall then rolled on Robert's back in a handstand then tossed him. "That's Christie's move." I thought quietly remembering how she threw Zafina, and noticed Robert roll when he touched the ground parkour-style.

"Impressive Bob. This will be your last test for this warmup." Sebastian said then he got a serious look which I could clearly see intimated him. Sebastian growled and stood up straight revealing his tall stature and made a mad dash for Robert who broke his trance, ducked the takedown tackle attempt, and responded with a decisive uppercut that sent Sebastian up in the air. I was speechless as I never thought I'd see Sebastian get rocked like that and Slim Bob was the one who did it.

Sebastian gracefully flipped in midair landing on his feet with Robert trying not to think of Sebastian returning the favor.

"Good show Robert, you're ready" said Sebastian as he got ready to drive us to the tournament.

I looked at Robert, who slowly looked back, then I ran up and slammed his lips against mine. He smiled hard and held me then I said, "We got this tournament made, just remember to not hold back". He nodded and we went upstairs, got ready for the match, and in the limousine with Sebastian who unsurprisingly left five Tekken Force soldiers laid out. They try to take our riches sometimes.

We arrived at the same time King and Marduk did and formally greeted them.

"Hola Robert, como estas amigo?" King asked in his native language. He then looked at me and asked him, "Novia?" Robert responded, "I'm great, I get to fight two ring legends and I believe she's mine.." I spoke up, "Yes, he is mi novio King."

King smiled and clapped then we noticed Marduk who had on sunglasses, a sleeveless jacket, croc jeans and shoes with MMA gloves entering the ring. "Yo" was all Marduk said as he tried to size up Robert's strength. Robert, unsuccessfully, tried to mask his fear at the Australian mammoth responding, "Hey Marduk what's up?"

He removed his jacket and sunglasses, walked out of the ring, and handed them to excited, screaming fans who accepted Marduk's gift he let them have then returned. "What's up is you better put up a good fight" Marduk said with King nodding in agreement. We took our spots in opposite ring posts and reminded Robert to never hold back. The Announcer yelled out, "Get Ready!" We took our stances. Then he yelled, "FIGHT"

King stepped in the middle followed by Lili. He took a deep breath then quickly sidestepped and grabbed Lili, lifting her over his back and slammed her to the floor. I noticed Marduk staring, waiting for me to make a move but in a rage I ran up and slammed my knee in King's face as he turned around. Lili got up and saw Marduk charge so she jumped doing a backflip from the ropes and dropkicked him there.

While King was still reeling, I grabbed him and hit him with an uppercut to which Lili jumped and roundhouse kicked him into Marduk. The crowd screamed in excitement then we heard a gasp. We turned to see Marduk charge with King on his back. I exclaimed, "OH SHIT" and grabbed Lili diving out of the way but King jumped over and punched me dizzy. Lili turned around and Marduk socked her with his "Death Fist".

I looked over and saw Lili looking almost lifeless then back at King, who moved her over to another ring post, and Marduk who looked indifferent. I got up slowly and wiped blood from my lips then said, "I can take you any which way". King ran up and attempted a clothesline but I caught his wrist, held it, and pulled him into one of my full-force haymakers leaving him to crumple down to the floor.

"The girl's out cold and I don't know about King." said Marduk. I responded confidently, "Now I get to return your punch that you gave Lili. Just you and me now". We walked over to each other and had a brief stare down then he attacked first. I ducked his elbow and tried to kick his gut but he caught my leg and pulled me into his takedown. He forced my head down and lifted his fist for the final blow. I thought in my head, "If that catches me then my tournament is over". He threw the punch and I somehow rolled back over him into my takedown, placed my knees on his neck pressure points, and I started punching his face hard as the crowd counted every punch.

"One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine!" I remembered Lili telling to not hold back so I got up and jumped high, raising my fist. The arena got really silent as did the crowd. Then I came down and slammed my fist hard on Marduk's forehead, knocking him out.

The crowd exlaimed, "Ten!" and the arena was filled with yells and cheers. Happily, the announcer screamed, "Slim Bob and Lili win! In two days, we'll advance to the semifinals with Robert and Lili fighting The Mishima Elders!"

Lili woke up and saw me as I raised my fist in victory then walked over and kissed me, taking my unraised arm as we left to the limousine. Sebastian opened our doors and clapped for us then whistled when I sat and held Lili to lay flat with her head on my lap. I kissed her goodnight as she fell asleep and I talked to Sebastian all the way home as I was too happy to go to sleep.
