rant:
so this one is about my ex-cheer team 🌚
last school year i was in the cheer team but not really. it's cause my school, has an extremely long process in joining the squad, takes about two to three months, idk if that's normal. but my school is the worst, low class, cheapest, grossest school you'll ever see. no lie.
well, it didn't start off as good as i wanted it to, cause when i went to my first tryout, the captain already told me she didn't like me. like okay? i don't give a shit. she was also about a year above me so she thought she was better, smarter, etc.
so i was assigned to be a flyer immediately, cause of my skinny frame. well i'm pretty sure i did a good job, even the cheer team said i was the best one out of all the flyers that tried out so-
but the captain wasn't having it, she pointed out every single "flaw" and said i was literally the worst flyer she seen. i still got on the team tho cause she low key new i was good af, she's just being petty. idk why she didn't like me, i haven't met her properly till this moment.
well every tryout she would always leave me out of it and wouldn't teach me the cheers we had to learn. sometimes she wouldn't tell me we had practice then the next day be like, "you didn't show up to practice wow don't be surprised if we kicked you out". wtf, please leave. so when she told me to sing the cheers by myself, well i didn't know them so i would fail cause she barely taught me them. she was the worst istg.
so it was time to buy our uniforms and bows from the school cause they were necessary. they were also expensive for no reason, it was literally a cropped top and a mini squirt with a bow with jewels on it. guess how much those two things cost together. maybe around 50 to 80? NO. they both added up to about 180 dollars. 180 dollars that came out of my pocket, hard earned money that i used from working my ass off. anyways i bought them cause she said i was for sure on the team. she literally told me that i had a spot on the cheer squad, so i bought them.
i was even on the small paper that they hung up on the school's doors. so i was feeling confident, i was ready to go and everything. then i realized that our first game was Thursday, and it was currently Wednesday. so our captain told us to go pick up our fitted uniforms from the schools main office, change into them, and go directly to the game afterwards. easy enough. so after school my friends and i went to go get our uniforms. all of my friends got theirs but when it came to me, the office lady told me my uniform wasn't there. so i was like "wdym it's not there" so she said that i wasn't even on the cheerleading team's list. my confused self laughed and told her otherwise.
she showed me herself that i wasn't on there. i was hella confused, cause i know for a fact that i payed 180 dollars for my stuff so? she told me to consult my captain, so that's what i did.
my friends changed into their uniforms and we went to the game, which is where i saw my captain. so i went up to her and i was like "there must have been a mistake, my uniform is no where to be found and she says i'm not on the team."
and this bitch says,
"but you aren't on the team."

i know for a fact that my name was on that list.
i know for a fact i payed money for my shit.
and i know for a fact that she didn't want me here, she just took my money and kicked me off the squad.
but my friends aren't fake so they decided they weren't going to cheer and quit since our captain is a snake. true friends.
i was so pissed that day, and i always see her at school in her uniform smiling at me. like no, please jump in front a speeding car and make this world happy for once.
still don't know why she doesn't like me. i was just trying to participate in a sport, and she came at my neck. people are so activating.
