Chapter 4: Uncertainty At Its Finest

I've just found out that I actually started this story around June 2018, when I was about to start 7th grade. Fudge, it has almost been two years. I was gone for a long time lol.

Oh and if someones asking, there will be romance here of course. Where's the fun without it? There will be ships here and there, but keep in mind that Romance isn't the main genre.

Daina's P.O.V.

"Oh yeah, sure. The Alphabet song." Clio replied after finally noticing that it is being played.

I'm currently wondering why I am hearing that nursery rhyme. It's actually not that loud, it's as soft as a whisper sounds but I guess since everyone is quiet, it's hearable enough to know what it is. I also think that if it is being played on a piano, if I am not mistaken, I bet there's a music room not so far from here. Maybe inside the house.

The last time I heard it was when I was teaching Souta the letters of the alphabet by singing the aphabet song back when he was 2 years old.

That was also probably the last time I sang.

Finally, someone broke the silence and at the same time, the song disappeared. "Okay, that's unexpected. " Ukyo commented calmly, his surprised look leaving his face and the others as well. While for some are still letting it processed on their minds.

"You have got to be kidding me." Lui said in dismay, his eyebrows almost met upon hearing the announcement that caught his attention. He is after all that kind of person that doesn't have 'company' in his dictionary.

This is what I'm talking about. People with problems ofhaving roommates.

"I'm not kidding around. Believe me guys, I was that surprise just as you are when he told me." Hoji confessed that made Lui 'tsk' at the statement and looked away.

"That's the reason why Wakiya doesn't want us to be the ones to put our bags on our rooms. He doesn't wants us to figure out yet who our roommates are." Hoji simply explained the actual reason why we will be seeing our rooms later more than sooner.

And by that last sentence that Hoji said, I've realized something that made me a bit tense. The others have realized it too.

"So you mean that we won't be the ones to pick out our roommates?" I asked directly, not letting a second go to waste. "Komurasaki already did that for us, am I right?" Clio added, backing me up.

Oh how I wish that I'm wrong.

Hoji sighed in defeat. "You're not wrong. Wakiya did pick out who gets to be roommates. " Jeez, thanks so much for my wish.

I just hope Wakiya knows what he's doing.

"Suppose he mention to you who are each other's companions, Konda?" Arthur asked hopefully to know who he will be sharing the same room with. We all looked at Hoji to wait for what he is going to say with our hopes up.

Hoji is like a brother to Wakiya, he must have told him all about his plan? Right?

"I wish I could say yes guys, but he doesn't even want to tell me about it. He said that he's not making me an exception. Sorry. " Hoji shyly said, not able to give us more info that could help. We sighed in disappointment. Not on Hoji but on how clueless we are on who are we sharing the same room with.
