Chapter 1: Sun Rise, Sun Set

I've decided to add my OC, Reiko, here. I hope you guys won't mind. Don't worry, she won't be a nuisance. If you don't like her being included here, just pretend that her presence isn't there or simply ignore her, but then thia chapter is written in her P.O.V. oof. I have things planned out, okay? Trust me on this :)

Reiko's P.O.V

The smell of you in every single dream I dream🎶

As the song that brings a lot of marvelous treasured memories continue to send a serene effect to my body, while my oceanic blue eyes were locked at the sights of leaves of towering trees swayed from left to right, probably by the strong wind that is accompanied by the stormy weather. Dark grey clouds filled the night sky, heavy raindrops kept on pouring nonstop and multitudinous thunderbolts appear most of the time, giving some of my fellow companions hide and shiver under the sheets or burying their face into someone's chest for comfort.

I just let out a sigh, knowing that this rain won't stop soon; however, I'm slightly grateful because the weather sort of also gives me a soothing feeling, unlike others. It's like it helps my mind avoid any particular thoughts that will bring up an terrifying event, making me devastated.

"Reiko? Uh, you there?"

I snapped back into really as I felt someone tapped my shoulder. I landed my gaze to my side to see a frizzy light brown haired and green eyed male looking at me with his eyebrows furrowed and scratching the back of his head in confusion.

"Oh hey there, Boa. Sorry, I gazed off and I was wearing my headphones. Were you saying something?" My fingers pressed the pause button, also removing my headphones to show my attention is pin on the male. I greeted him with a warm smile.

You might be wondering why I'm next to Boa. Well, I don't know exactly why I ended up with snakeu boy being my seatmate. I would prefer sitting either beside Lui or Ukyo honestly, but I just immediately sat at a random seat coincidentally right beside Boa. I don't really mind though. We're good friends after all.

"It's fine. I was just asking you if you're okay because you were staring outside for like, 3 straight hours now. It's actually 11:00 p.m, if you haven't notice. Everyones fast asleep except for the two of us."

My eyes widened in disbelief as I rubbed my eyes before checking out the time displayed on my device's screen. It is 11:00. If Boa hadn't told me, I would haven't notice that the two of us are wide awake, while everyone else are there at their seat, seemingly relaxed and in peaceful slumber, having fun dreams or maybe awful nightmares. Hey, who knows?

"Yeah, I'm pretty okay. Honestly, I didn't really notice that time passed by. I guess I was just too focused on watching the dreadful weather or got lost with the song I put on repeat." A small chuckle escaped my mouth, while putting away my phone and headphones as a sign that I'm going to stop doing whatever I was doing earlier that I put all of my attention at and intending to rest now. I feel tired. Sandman must have sprayed dream sand, out of nowhere, on me.

I let out a yawn and arched my back. Oof. Those straight 3 hours of letting my back slouch kind of made my back hurt a little.

I reached out for my backpack to put my belongings I let out, when my locket with a symbol of the sun showed up from underneath my shirt as I bended over.  I hold the symbol, turning it to see the front. A sweet smiled grew on my face and placed it properly on me, where you can clearly see it. After, I grabbed a free blanket near me and wrapped it on my whole being as I wiggle around like a worm, trying to get comfy in my position.
