Gabbie's Stupid Misfortune

When I got out of the shower I put on some ripped jeans, that really showed off my butt, a black crop top, and paired that with white low top converse.

I put on everyday makeup and put my long hair in a high ponytail. I looked at myself, took a quick mirror selfie, and walked out of the house and sat on the curb waiting for Jack.

I checked the time and it was 7:53pm. I started to scroll through Instagram. In a couple minutes of looking at some Lele Pons videos I heard a honk right in front of me. Of course it was Jack.

"Hop in sexy..." he said.

I just laughed his attempt of flirting off lightly.

"I hope you weren't sitting on that curb long," he said concerned. "I should have picked you up early and taken you to eat!"

"Babe...I'm fine," I responded.

"What did you eat today?" he asked concerned.

"McDonalds, and it was amazing. Can you just drive. I'm fine. You have to stop worrying so much. I know you care but really..." I said as I rolled my eyes at the end.

"I'm sorry...but I'm always here. Just text me, oK?" he said.

"YeS! Now be my bad boy..." I said right back.

He stared at me all smug and then drove off with his arm behind my seat.

We got there and the house was HUmOnGOuS!

"Woah...babe...whose party is this?" I asked as I hopped out of the car, Jack now standing at my side with his arms wrapped around my waist.

"Daniel's...you know Daniel Seavey? Well, him and his dude Jonah threw it apparently..." he answered.

"Nice," I trailed off.

With that we were walking into the party side by side.

We walked in and it was even better on the inside. But of course, here came the lady of the hour, Gabbie Gonzalez.

"Hanna! Jack!!" she said with much too much enthusiasm.

"What do you need Gabbie?" Jack asked being straight forward.

"Nothing," she said stepping back with her hands up. "I was simply just seeing what you two were up to. You know...with all the talk going around and your sudden relationship. Kinda sketchy huh Hanna?"

"Look Gabbie, your a great girl, and one day someone just may be able to stand you, but right now...it's not your time. Understood?" I snapped back.

She stayed completely silent.

"Sketchy this, bitch," I said. I then took Jack's hand and smacked it on my right butt cheek while turning around.

We walked away in the same position and I looked back at her with her jaw dropped.

"Walk upstairs into the first bedroom you see. Don't look back, k?" I whispered to Jack.

He nodded his head slightly. We walked up the stairs and into the first bedroom on the left which happened to look like the guest bedroom.

I sat down on the bed while he stood in front of me. We looked at each other.

We then...doubled over laughing. We were in hysterics. Partly because of Gabbie's disbelief, and secondly because of how stupid and cringy that move I pulled was.

I fell back in the bed still recovering from all the laughter.

After we were both calmed he sat on the bed next to me. He looked me in the eye and said,

"And those moments is what have me in love with you Hanna..."

And I was in shock but didn't make a sound.

I lied on the bed facing him and stated, "Come on, we came to party!"
