“Bel, are you done packing? We have to be at the airport in 40 minutes!” My dad yelled from the living room.
“Almost! I’ll be downstairs in a minute!” I yelled back. I’m so excited coming back home. New York is amazing, but in Omaha I have my old friends, and I know everyone there! My mother will stay in New York, my dad and her split up and she decided to don’t come live with us. I’m gonna miss her so much, even though I’ll visit her in the spring break.
I finished packing and went downstairs with all my stuff. My dad helped putting everything in the taxi and gave his keys to my mom.
“I’m gonna miss you, honey! I need to stay here for work, I wish I could go with you!” my mom said hugging me.
“I know, I’m gonna miss you too.” I smiled at her.
I entered in the taxi and saw my dad hugging my mother in the door of the building. They love each other, this is so stupid. Why they were apart?
We arrived in the airport at the right time. “Flight 3461, destination Omaha, Nebraska, last boarding call”. That’s us.
After some hours, we landed. My dad helped me to put my suitcases in the cap. Some time later we finally got home. I missed Omaha. I saw our house in the end of the street and smiled from ear to ear.
