A New Light (A Jack Gilinsky Fanfiction)

Chapter 6

Some weeks went by. I didn't really talk to Jack since the kiss, and if we did it was really awkward. I couldn't see him with Alissa and he couldn't be with Alissa and seeing me. I don't know what happened to us. Why did we kiss in the first place? That's the question I can't find the answer to. 

I was in school with Jess waiting for the bell rang. Finally a break from Chemistry. When it finally rang, we went to the cafeteria and bought some food. Jess talked about some new guy and I wasn't even paying attention. I was thinking about Jack. 

We talked about this new guy and I went to the bathroom. Got my eyeliner and put in on a little bit more because it was fading out. And mascara, of couse. Without lipstick I was looking... dead. When I was leaving the bathroom, I was pushed against the wall.

"Hey, beautiful." a brown eyes, blonde boy said smiling. 

"Are you crazy? Who the hell are you?" I pushed him away and started to walk.

"I'm Erick. What's your name, princess?" I gotta admit he was cute. 

"Isabella. Are you the new boy?"

"Yes. Heard about me, huh? Can I hear your phone number?" he said with this sexy smirk on his face. Jack came in my mind and this may be my chance to forget him for a little bit. So I gave him my number. My real number. "I'll call you." he kissed my cheek and left.

Yes, I didn't know him. I was confused to be honest. But it's my chance to forget about that kiss. And chill for a little bit.

After school I was chilling and my phone rang.

"Hey, Bella" 

"Who is this? And it's BEL." I said.

"Chill, babe. It's Erick. Me, you, tonight, movies. You in?" he asked.

"Sure. Pick me up at 8."

"Ok."

I gave him my address and hung up. I looked at my phone and it was 5 already. I showered and put my galaxy crop top, a high waisted shorts and my black vans. Straightened my hair and put some mascara on. When I finished it was 7:50. I heard some honk outside, I saw it was Erick and told him to wait. I went downstairs and my aunt asked who was the boy outside.

"It's Erick. He asked me out and we're going to the movies." I said serious.

"Does your dad know it?" she asked again.

"No, and I'd love if you tell him I'll sleep at Ja... Jess's tonight."

"You doing this to forget Jack, aren't you?" I didn't respond. 

"Ok, I'm going. Bye, aunt Mon."

I closed the door and ran to the car. Erick drove us to the mall and bought our tickets. When the movie started he slowly put his arms around me and I kinda liked it. There wasn't a lot of people and we were in the corner. So Erick turned and looked at me.

"I'm sorry for scaring you today. I didn't mean to."

"It's ok."

"I think you're beautiful." he smiled, leaning in. I could feel him breathing already.

"Thanks..." I was feeling butterflies in my stomach and leaned in too. We kissed. 

Jack's POV

I was watching TV and Friends started. Bel's favorite show ever. Ugh, I miss Bel. I miss her so much. "I think I should go see her", I thought. After some minutes thinking if I should go see her, I got up and got my keys. I was thinking too much.

I walked down the street and knocked on Bel's door.

"Hey, sweetheart, come on in" aunt Mon said. Althought she's not my aunt, I consider her one.

"Hey, aunt Monica" I smiled as I sat on the couch.

"Looking for Bel?" she asked and I nodded. "she's on a date."

"DATE? With who?" I asked nervous.

"Some boy called Erick." Erick? The new boy? I can't believe this. Why is she going out with a complete stranger? "and she was all dressed up, I think it's a serious thing."

"But she doens't even know this guy... right?" I asked again, trying to believe she's on an actual date with another guy. 

"I don't think so." 

"Where did they go?"

"The movies."

"Ok. When she come back please tell her I really want to talk to her?"

"Of course, my dear. Want some coffee?" aunt Mon asked.

"No, no, thank you. I'm gonna go now, thank you, aunt Mon." I hugged her and went back home.

When I got home I decided to call Alissa and when she answered my call, I heard music playing.

"Where are you, Alissa?"

"Oh, nothing, it's just the TV, let me go outside, wait." she said while leaving the room she was in.

"Just turn the TV off."

"No, it's just...um... the remote isn't here and you know how my TV is... there's no sensor and it just works with the remote." she said trying to find the words and I was suspicious.

"Ok, are you good there?"

"Yeah, I'm good, I'll just go find the remote and go to bed now, ok?"

"It's 9."

"I'm really tired, babe. Are you home?" she asked.

"No, I'm out with Jack and... I'll be home really late." I said the first thing that came in mind so I could go check something out.

"Oh, ok. I'll talk to you tomorrow, love you, baby." she said making a girly voice.

"Yeah, me too." and then we hung up.

I took my keys and my car keys and drove to her place. There was a party and I got in, looking for her. After some time looking for Alissa, I found her. She was in the living room, on the couch making out with some guy. I walked up to her.

"Having fun, Alissa?"

"JACK, OH MY GOD, JACK WHAT ARE YOU D-"

"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT I'M FUCKING DOING HERE." I yelled and everyone looked at us. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? MAKING OUT WITH THIS ASSHOLE HERE, HUH?"

"HEY BRO" the guy pushed me and I punched his face.

When I realized I was in a fight with that guy. 

"STOP!!!" Alissa said coming between us.

"You know what, Alissa?" I said wiping the blood that was on my forehead. "You're a little bitch. Cheater. And I loved you. How many times did you fuck this asshole? Huh? While I was at home missing you because you were "out with your best friends". While I was helping Bel because you were "at your parent's house", huh?" I said those words calmly and she was crying.

"WELL, THEN GO TO THAT LITTLE WHORE ISABELLA, I CAN SEE YOU LOVE HER, IT'S ON YOUR FUCKING FACE, JACK." she yelled and I stopped. It's like everything around me paralyzed.

"Maybe I do love her." I said smiling. "You know what? You two deserve each other." 

And then I left. When I was walking to my car, my phone rang.

"Hello?" 

"Jack!! It's Monica. Bel's home." 

This is it. I'll tell her I love her.
