Chapter 7

Bel's POV

We watched the movie and Erick drove me home. 

"Thank you Erick, tonight was cool."

"So, I guess this is it?" Erick said when I was at my door. "No goodnight kiss?" 

I laughed. "See you around." I shut the door and headed upstairs.

When I got in my room, I went to the bathroom to shower. Had a long shower and when I got out, put my hair into a bun and got my pajamas and put them on aswell. Closed my windows because the wind was too cold and went downstairs to drink some water.

"Hey, sweetie." my aunt Mon said from the couch.

"Hey." I said opening the fridge and grabbing the water bottle.

"How was with your friend?" 

"It was ok." I said smiling and drinking a gulp of the cold water.

"Is this... serious or something?" 

"No... no... I barely know him. He just attacked me at school and... Oh, don't make that face he didn't hurt me" I said when aunt Mon looked at me confused"he just scared me saying 'hey beautiful' and being all flirty. He's cute but..." I didn't know what to say, I searched for the words but none came to mind.

"But... someone already owns your heart." she said and I felt my cheeks burning. "Honey... I know you and Jack have something going on between you two. And I know you just went to this date to get him out of your mind but it obviously didn't work because your heart belongs to Jack since you were 6 years old and you know it."

"I don-" she interrupted me.

"Come here, seat here." she said and I sat by her side. "You're so young, Jack is so beautiful and you two are so cute together. I saw the look on your face the first time you saw him here. I see how you're happy when he's around. I don't understand why you keep denying this pure and beautiful feeling that's in your heart. You know you feel it and Jack feels it too. Just... give it a try. Don't waste this feelings by going out with strangers and trying to "do the right thing". Go for it. It's worth it, I promise. You'll see." 

I couldn't find the words so I just hugged her because every word was true and I knew that. I ran upstairs and jumped on my bed. Got my phone and searched Jack in the contacts list. I was thinking if I should or shouldn't call and I heard the doorbell. After some minutes it rang again so I went downstairs.

"Aunt Mon?" I said looking for her. 

"Bel, can you get that for me? I have to go talk to your dad in his office." she said from the garage.

I went to the door and opened it. There he was, smiling, eyes glowing and lookin surprisely nervous. Jack. I was about to say 'hey' but I was shut when his soft lips crashed against mine as he held me by my waist. I don't think I've ever felt so... complete. He let go from that intense kiss and just hugged me tight.

"We have to talk." he said grabbing my hands and heading to the living room. We sat on the couch and he looked at me. "Alissa cheated on me and we broke up but that's not what brought me here. Actually, that made me see how I feel about you and how I should've said this before but I didn't because I was stupid and... loyal to that slut. But it made me realize that you're the one that I... that I... love. I love you, Isabella and I just wanna be with you and kiss you and hug you and make you smile everyday from now on. You're the one I lovd and it took 4 years for me to realize that. Actually when I first saw you here when you arrived I already felt that warm thing inside me and I was all nervous because that's what you do to me... you make me nervous and I love you with all my heart and It might be kinda weird now because of our friendship but I don't care. I just care about you and us and what we can live together from now on and... I love you." he said and I couldn't find any words to describe my happiness, I hugged him tight and kissed him. It felt so right and I... I felt... complete.
