Shiro pov
Faster, I have to run faster!
"Heh Heh Heh you can never get away from me, after all the black lion is still mine"
"No! You will NEVER get the black lion or any of them! When will you learn Zarkon, good always beats evil!"
"Hahahaha well, this time their will be an exception and I will be the last and rightful black paladin standing!"
[ Zarcon appeared in front of shiro with the other paladins, their hands were tied behind their back and they were on their knees repeating that it's all his fault, then Zarcon killed them, one by one until the green paladin was the only one left and said, shiro I forgive you and gave him a smile, then Zarcon slit her throat]
"NOOOOOOO"
I bolted out of bed and realized that I was still in the castle, the group was safe in bed sleeping, especially Pidge, it was only a nightmare. I realized that I liked Pidge some time ago but she would never return my feelings, I decided to go train.
I've had insomnia for a long time so it's nothing new to me, the rest of the team knows to because I sometimes wake up and check in their rooms to make sure everyone is safe, when I arrived at the training room I set the bot to the lowest level and set it so the difficulty will gradually grow.
"Start training sequence!"

Time skip many hours later

"End training sequence!"
I finally shouted
"Shiro, what are you still doing here?"
"Oh P-pidge just some training"
I was surprised that she was still awake.
"Shiro it's 3am" she said to me with a straight face
"Come on shiro, we can't have out fearless leader passing out on us from exostion now can we?" She joked and smiled at me while grabbing my hand, I blushed from the contact but didn't pull away, letting her drag me to my room. When we got there I opened my door, we both walked in and the door automatically shut, she dropped my hand but looked hesitant to do so, she said goodnight to me and was about to walk out when I grabbed her wrist and asked her to stay.
I looked at her and her expression softened
"yes, of course I will shiro"
I don't know why my body moved on its own, but I'm glad it did.
After that I told her that I was going to take a shower and walked into the bathroom, I sighed and got in the shower.

20 minuet Timeskip

I walked out of the bathroom to get my shirt, figuring that Pidge had fallen asleep and wouldn't see me. I grabbed a shirt off my nightstand, surprisingly she was still awake, when Pidge saw me she started staring.
I have never let anybody see the scars that littered my body, she stopped at the one scar that I didn't want to explain and studied it, then noticed I was watching her and blushed, I quickly put on my shirt and apologized
"Sorry Pidge, I thought you would've fallen asleep"
"N-no it's fine I was waiting for you"
"Oh" I internally smiled and laid on the bed, she turned off the lights and laid down in the bed with me, I wrapped my arms around her tiny waist and buried my face in the crook of her neck, even though the lights were off I could still see her blushing but theirs no way I will ever tell her that and pretty soon she fell asleep.
I watched her sleeping form and whispered "Katie I love you I just wish you loved me" and soon fell asleep.

3rd person pov

Pidge had just finished replenishing her snack supply in the green lion that she had ate after hours (till 3am to be exact) of tinkering with her lion, tweaking here and there to perfection and was now walking back to her room when she heard sounds coming from the training room.

Pidges pov
I walked up to the training deck to see shiro fighting a training bot, I have liked shiro for awhile now but theirs no way he would return my feelings. I stood there and watched him until finally he said end training sequence
"Shiro what are you still doing awake?" 
"P-pidge just some training"
"Shiro it's 3am" I deadpanned, I know he's lying, he must've had another nightmare.
"Come on shiro" I grabbed his hand Not caring that he was sweaty from training.
I swear when I grabbed his hand I saw him blush, it was probably just my imagination though.
"Let's get you to bed, we can't have our fearless leader passing put on us from exostion now can we?" I joked trying to lighten the mood.
When we got to his room he opened his door and we walked inside, I was still holding his hand so I reluctantly dropped it.
"Goodnight shiro" I said and was about to walk out when he grabbed my wrist and asked me to stay, I looked in his eyes and saw fear of rejection, sadness, and one other emotion I couldn't quite put my finger on.
"Yes shiro of course I will"
"Ok, im going to go shower, please don't leave" he said heading to the bathroom and closed the door, a minuet later I could hear the shower running and decided to look around his room to see what there was, and it wasn't much, the only thing that shiro had was a closet, his bed and black lion slippers that lance had surprisingly made for christmas for him, after a little while I laid on his bed and waited for him, 20 minuets later I heard the water turn off and looked at the bathroom door,  shiro came out a few moments later with no shirt, I might've been staring but I couldn't stop, I saw his biceps and his 6pack, he has a GOOD body, then I kept looking and saw Scars (they must've been from when he was a prisoner of the galra) but then I noticed a jagged scar that was as long as my hand that ran In a diagonal line over his abbs, it looked different from the others, I looked at his face to see him watching me as I looked him over, he quickly put on his shirt as I realized he'd been watching me the whole time and I blushed "Sorry Pidge, I thought you had fallen asleep"
"N-no it's fine I was waiting for you"
"ok" he said and laid in bed.
I turned off the lights and laid down on the bed next to him, he wrapped his arms around me and buried his face in the crook of my neck, (he smells good)
I turned redder then a ripe tomato but thank god that the lights were off so he couldn't see my red face, pretty soon the redness died down, I was just about to fall asleep when I heard him whisper "Katie I love you, I just wish you loved me" and he fell asleep, I blushed as I was surrounded by black, giving in to the realm of sleep.
