RUNE 1.2

Running.....
That's all what we've been doing for 10 years
But the lack of food and other resources made us settle down

In a place where no man stepped into
In a place far away from humanity

A place where only nature takes place, our perfect little life in our humble abode
Our secrets hidden from the ever so judgement of the world.

But... that was 3 years ago
That took me... they took everything from me! I'm a monster I'm...a...-

"Hey are you awake I know you are," said a woman with straight and long black hair
Wait... where am I

"I know you maybe confused but your in my house... I took you in when I found you at the river" she seem to answer my invisible question

She want closer to me and touched my forehead
"Hmmm... still have a slight fever" as if on cue I started to sneeze

"Wait here I'll make you soup" the woman said as she left the room.
I observed the room and it was somewhat large

I was laying down on a fairly large bed maybe a queen sized one it has white and black sheets covering it

There was also a medium sized chandler hovering above the bed

The woman entered with a tray on her hands which I assume is the soup
"Here eat this, you must be very hungry" she says as she feeds me a spoonful of soup

I was hesitant at first but I gave in and ate the soup
"Can I eat it my self?" I asked politely

She nodded and gave me the tray and the spoon
I ate and finished it all

"Mama!" I hear a little voice from the door
"Oh! Dear! Senyora I'm so sorry he kept on crying asking to see you!" The what I assumed is a maid says

"It's ok Rita, come here baby!" The lady said as she made some hand gestures
"Mitchell say hi to our guest" she said as she picked up the baby

The baby looked at me with his big sea green eyes and smiled
"This is Mitchell your new brother... do you remember your name?" She asked

"My name... my name is Rune... that's all I remember" I answered honestly
"Well Rune you are now Rune Blackwood I'm your new mother my name is Kahtrin Blackwood and this is your new brother Mitchell Marllot Blackwood" she answered

A new family?
Great....

"I know this might be sudden but we're going to prepare the papers for your adoption" she said

"Sissue" Mitchell said and he held his tiny little hands up
"We'll leave you for now I'll be back later to check on how your doing... you can go outside if ... you want, and there are some clothes in the dresser you can take a bath and change ...."she said as I nodded

"And By the way... your safe here Rune don't worry" she added as she left the room with Mitchell on her arms

I stood up and went inside the bathroom

This bathroom... is nice...
It has one bathtub a shower ... toilet and a door which I presume is where the towels and the extra clothes are.

Hmm.... there are also a ray of different shampoos ranging to scented ones to anti frizz one

I went inside the shower and turned on the shower I also found 16 different soaps inside a small acrylic box near the shower so I took a green color one that was supposed to wash out impurities from your skin

Hmmm.... I also took the cotton candy scented shampoo and started showering

Well... I finally finished
I took a towel and dried myself....
Why can't I remember anything from that day ..

My head began buzzing... my blood started to burn and boil
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on the bathroom door

"Rune? Are you alright? Did the clothes fit you?"a female voice can be heard from the other side of the door

"I'm... I'm alright and yes t-the clothes fit me u-uhhh-"I stuttered as my hands start to shake

"Come on Rune! Let's go!"
"Rune are alright ? are you sick? Does the food taste alright?"

"Rune"
"Rune"

"Rune! Are you ok omg! Let's get you dressed... you're safe now... shhh..." Kahtrin or er- my new mother said as she strokes my hair lovingly

She took the clothes and quickly dressed me up
"Lets go... ok? Let's get your papers prepared" she said as she lead me outside the bathroom just to see little Mitchell sitting down on the bed

"I have failed to notify you but this is now your room I don't know what your favorite shampoo is or soap so I bought you all of the shampoo and soap from our shop" she said

I gently pulled on her dress and said a small 'thank you'
I didn't know she could here it until I heard she said

"Your very welcomed my dear"
