Chapter Five:
The War Always Starts on a Battleground
Battleground was just 2 weeks away.
Raw was that evening, and it was going to see Dean Ambrose team with Roman Reigns to face the team of Seth Rollins and yours truly, Johnny Styles. But that wasn’t going to happen until later on in the evening, for it was the main event.
As Raw started, I was approached by Jacob Evans.
“Johnny,” he started. “Tonight the main event is supposed to feature you and Seth Rollins taking on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. The match is going to happen, but Hunter is going to make an announcement informing the fans that it will be an elimination match. Also the winner between you and Dean will be able to choose the stipulation for your match at Battleground.”
My heart both sank and lifted. Sadly I would have to rely on someone else to help me get the opportunity to choose the stipulation, but if I won, Dean Ambrose would be in a world of pain.
The evening went by quicker than I thought it would. But before long it was time for the main event.
I was set to go out last, and before long, my music hit. I went through the curtain and instantly heard the crowds boo my name.
The entire match went by like a blur, as Seth hogged most of the match.
The match ended when Dean Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Seth, getting the pin in the process.
Dean Ambrose was going to choose the stipulation for our match.
