My Last Night as NXT Champion? Or the End of My Career?

By the time Smackdown rolled around, I was heavily anticipating Dean Ambrose's announcement of what our match at Battlegorund would be.

By the time Dean Ambrose came to the ring, I was set for whatever challenge I would be faced with. The only difference between myself and Dean Ambrose was that I was confident in my ability to win at any situation put in front of me.

Dean Ambrose sauntered out to the ring, holding the golden briefcase that I was so devestatingly hungry for.

"In less than two weeks, myself and Johnny Styles will face off for this golden ticket to the big lights of superstardom." Dean Ambrose started out, all the while holding his briefcase in the air. "And, thanks to Seth Rollins' stupidity this past Monday on Raw, I get to the choose the stipulation for this match at Battleground. And to say that I have the perfect stipulation for our match is a complete understatement."

At this point in the announcement, I was seriously dreading what he was going to say.

"Our match at Battleground," Dean Ambrose continued. "Will be a Loser Leaves WWE 3 Stages of Hell match."

I was completely dumbfounded at this statement. I could lose my whole career in this match. I had never been in a 3 Stages of Hell match, let alone any truly hardcore match. But from what I had found out about Dean Ambrose, his wrestling history consists of many hardcore matches.

"Our first match will be a Hell in a Cell match, followed by a Hardcore match, then, if need be, there will be a third match, which will be a Ladder Match for my Money in the Bank briefcase."

All I could do was sit in the back, panic stricken and fear shown across my face. If I lost this match, I would be done with my WWE career.

Raw came quickly the next week. And if Smackdown didn't get me worried enough, I got a message from the COO of the WWE, Triple H, to come see him in his office.

As I approached his office, I got really worried about what I was being called in for. I opened the door to see Hunter looking at me with a smile on his face.

"Johnny, come in. Have a seat." I did just that without any hesitation. "Tonight, we have a special treat for the WWE Universe. Tonight, you are going to defend the NXT Championship against 5 of the brightest young stars in NXT. Hideo Itami, Adrian Neville, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Finn Balor will all challenge for the championship in a Six Man Battle Royal where you will have to pin your opponents to retain. It will be elimination, so you eventually will have to be pinned or made to submit to lose your title."

I looked at Hunter with the brightest smirk on my face, because I knew that I would win tonight.

I looked at the schedule and was happy to see that the NXT Championship match would be the main event.

The time for the main event came quickly. Seeing how I was the only one to perform in a main event slot on Monday Night Raw, I was confident that I would win.

The match was very good. I was able to make Adrian Neville submit to the Styles-Lock, then I pinned Hideo Itami after I hit him with the Styles-Line.

Sami Zayn tried to come at me with the Helluva Kick, but I was able to duck out of the way and twist his arm around his head to hit him with a modified Styles-Line to the back of his head. I was able to pin him shortly afterward. Now it was down to me, Kevin Owens, and Finn Balor.

It looked like Owens and Balor were going to work together to try to take me out, but as Balor began to go after me, Owens turned him around and hit him with a devestating Pop-Up Powerbomb, pinning him right after.

Owens and I were the last two standing, until I felt a sharp pain hit me in the back of the head. I flipped over to see Dean Ambrose standing over me, holding the golden briefcase, gloating at me. Then, as if it was planned, Dean left the ring, and i was lifted up off the ground.

Owens threw me against the ropes only to lift me up on the rebound and throw me back down again. I felt his body cover me in the pinning position, but I didn't have the strength to kick out of the pin.

I heard the bell ring, and I realized what had just happened. Dean Ambrose had cost me my NXT Championship.

Hey Guys, So I'm Back and I'm going to try to put up a new chapter everyday so count on that. Thanks for sticking by me.
