"I convinced myself you're my home. A home I could run to when nobody else accepts me, I thought."

home \ˈhōm\
noun: Something or perhaps someone who gives you the thought of being protected and the warmth of being safe.

Finishing my whole life with dishwashing, I took a long, deep breath and walked towards the door, carefully not to make any unncessary moves.

I walked to the counter with numb, pale hands. My face out of the world and my body becoming jelly. Legs are both vulnerable and weak. My arms begging for a month full rest.

"Aly! I have a special frappé made only for you! Since you've done a great job today that you looked as if you concquered a whole typhoon."

She said, handling me a strawberry cookie shaved Frappé. Thank the highest for availing me a thoughtful bestfriend.

"Thanks Rye," I peacefully nodded and took it. A smile still managed to crept on the corners of my lips since even small actions can't even process my body.

I took is as a privilege that someone still cares and makes me feel like I'm at the very least, valuable.

Even small gifts could make my heart flutter and do flips, yes it's my nature, to appreciate even a simple present.

It's just, never in our three-year relationship, Edward gave me even the simplest gift. If he would give me a simple gift maybe I would have that big probablity to have cancer because of happiness and joy. But I know he'd come to think of it, he's just pretty busy as an CEO of his dad's Enterprising Company.

"You look so pale Aly, go home now. For me." Chi said with a gentle stern voice. Which I agreed. What a thoughtful bestfriend I have, I hope everyone could have a bestfriend like mine. But I won't just slip my girlfriend like that. She's mine for all of their own information.

"Take care here." I told her whilst smiling. Making sure she wouldn't at least join me home saying I need assistance, cause she's always overproctective. But not those life-choking ones. That's rude and awful.

I checked the time onto my wrist watch,

6:34pm.

I'm such a horrible girlfriend for not making Edward even a simple omelet. I thought.

Paking my little things onto my cozy backpack, and snaching my phone and the apartment's keys. I bid goodbye to Rye and preparing myself while covering myself with a jacket.

"Good Night! Tell me if you come back home safe okay? Promise me!" Rye she squalled which was music to my ears. I love it everytime she cares about me, I feel important.

"Yeah sure! Same to you!" I shouted at her back since I'm at the edge of the exit while she's at the opposite of the corner. I'm already taking off and I think we would still be going to have a chitchat. Damn.

She giggled.

"Now go! And never come back!" Joking she shouted.
