This chapter is short but very intense guys. Hope you love it! ;)

Some things are just good to be hidden forever. Their knowledge can destroy everything. It can reduce a person to ashes. Make life a living hell.
But the gruesome truth is that some people have to live this nightmare, even if it cuts through their heart and body like sword cuts through flesh.
I was once that person, having the choice to be either the victim of my story or the hero. And I obviously chose the latter. Not because I was still strong, but because I was broken so badly that there was no difference between me and dead.
I was so low, that I couldn't even fall any below.
Not many people know my truth, the truth that changed Maya Rook into a monster. A monster that is just hiding beneath the surface for the sake of her loved once.
But some people like to prod a lot. They like to cut into you again for the sick pleasure of seeing you bleed.
That person for me was Vlad.
No matter what I do now, he has gotten me right where I wanted to escape from. He has slithered into my life like a poisonous snake and coiled around me with a vice grip.
Now there are just two options, either the monster kills or the snake.
Anyhow, this might seem like a lot, but if he discovers the truth, he will automatically die, without the monster having to make the kill.
But the pleasure will be none. And the monster liked to do everything with pleasure.
So, in just my short shorts and a tight tank top, I was lying in Vlad's room, going through every single of his stuff until I found the very thing I was looking for. Last time he caught me unprepared, but this time, I am ready to take equal the scoreboard.
Just the perfect amount. No more. No less. That's what makes the perfect kill.
And here comes the long awaited movement.
It's 3 a.m. right now and the loud rain along with furious lightning cannot mask the sound of Vlad's footsteps coming to his room.
The monster now just has to lay back and wait. He prodded, and now he will have to pay the price. There is a beauty in every past, but mine held horrors. And trying to uncover it was Vlad's greatest fault.
He has to pay now.
Crunch. Crunch. Tik. Tok. And here opens the door.
"What the hell Maya! What are you doing in my room!?"
Nothing could give me the pleasure of seeing the look on his face right now. Striking the enemy when he is least expecting it is the best way to win.
"Tsk. Tsk. Not happy to see me Vlad?" I asked, getting up from the bed and moving towards him. Reaching him, I trapped him between the door and me. No chance to escape now. As if on que, the thunder outside struck again and the rain fell harder and darkness got darker.
"I am not going to ask again. What. Are. You. Doing. Here."
His eyes grew more lethal by the second and my heart bet faster, the adrenaline coursing through my veins. He had more cuts and bruises on his face now. Interesting. But what was more interesting was how his face was wrapped up in a shadow.
If I could describe him right now it would be, lethal yet so sexy, predator yet my prey.
He thought he was the only one who could play games.
