Best Friend Eren x Self Harm Reader(Attack on Titan)

A/N-so this is the first story/fanfic ive ever written and I just want to say: I do not own any of the characters or the anime. I also want to apologize if any of these chapters are too emotional or triggering (like the first chapter). So yeah. Leave comments and suggestions if you want and i'll update as soon as I can.

You woke up just like you usually do every morning. Wake up a few hours early before anyone else does (even Corporal Levi, and he gets up a little later than you) and you go take a long hot shower. As you take off your shirt, you take notice of the many scars running up and down your arms and wrists. Your self harm started several months ago because all of the other trainees would make fun of how weak you were. Some scars were faded, and some were results from last night. You sigh. "Why cant these ever just go away?" you whisper to yourself. You take off the rest of your clothes and step in the shower. Since you've grown used to the hot water, it doesnt really bother you when it hits your skin. You get out, towel yourself dry, and go into your room to change into your uniform.

You finally finish putting on your 3dmg straps and stand in front of the door. Time for another day of fake smiles, you tell yourself. As you head downstairs for breakfast, your best friend Eren Jaeger comes out of his room and walks beside you.

"Hey (y/n). Sleep well?" he asks.

"Hi Eren. I didn't really sleep well last night."

"Huh? Why not? You were fine yesterday. "

"Its nothing really," You managed a weak smile. "I just had a nightmare. It happenes sometimes.."

Eren looks at you. "(y/n), why didnt you tell me about before? "

"Im sorry Eren. I just didn't want to bother you."

When you look at Eren he looks a little pained. Suddenly he pulls you into a long

hug. He strokes your head and says,

"(y/n), you can talk to me about anything. I wont get angry. I'll listen. I'll always be here for you. Ok?"

You suddenly start tearing up a little and hug him back tightly.

*sniff* "..ok. Thank you Eren. It really means a lot."

"No problem (y/n). Come on, lets go eat."

The two of you head downstairs and sit at the table where Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Petra, and Corporal Levi are already sitting.

When you sat down you were greeted with a few "hellos" and "good mornings". As usual, the Corporal gave you one of his many glares, although you're never really sure why, besides the fact that he sees you spending most of your time with Eren.

"Did you sleep well (y/n)?" asked your other best friend Mikasa. You basically friends with everyone, but your were closer towards Eren, Mikasa, and Armin.

"Hm? Oh, yeah I slept pretty good."

"Hey (y/n)," said Armin.

"Hey Armin, whats up?"

"Well, Eren, Mikasa and I were wondering if you would like to go camping with us."

As soon as the Corporal Levi heard this, he set down his mug and looked at you.

Ignoring him, you said, "I'd love to!"

"Great!" said Armin. "We'll leave in a few hours. Make sure to get ready, ok (y/n)?"

"Sure. No problem." you said.

After he heard your answer, the Corporal stood up from his seat and said,

"If anyone needs me, I'll be in my office. Cadet (l/n), come with me."

You blinked at him. "Right now?" you asked.

"Now, (l/n)."

"Um..ok." As you got up from your chair, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa gave you questioning looks. You just shrugged your shoulders and mouthed "I dont know.."

As you followed the corporal to his office, you only had one thought..

"What have I done this time?.."
