The next morning, I heard Tom talking to someone downstairs. I put on a sweatshirt and padded down the stairs to see Tom on the phone. "Hey..." Tom looked up at me and held up his index finger. He said goodbye to the person on the phone then turned to me. "Morning Lovie." "Who was that?" I asked, leaning over the railing on the stairs. "Just Max...um, how did you get home last night?" Overprotective Tom mode. "Nathan walked me home." "You left the club with Nathan?" "Well yeah. You and Kelsey just kind of left me so Nathan and I took a walk." "Alright...as long as you didn't leave with some dirtbag." "Yeah," I walked over and sat next to him, putting my arms around him. "Cause my big brother Tom Parker would have to kick some ass." Tom laughed and put an arm around me. "Damn right." "So what's on the schedule for today?" "Photo shoot." Tom replied. "Ooh can I go!" he looked at me and laughed a bit. "Of course. Go get ready." I finished getting ready and met Tom downstairs and we were off.
As soon as we walked into the photo shoot, I was tackled with a hug from Jay. "Cadence!" I laughed and hugged him. "Hi Jaybird!" he let go of me and looked at me. "Wow someone grew up! I remember when you were small!" I giggled and put my sunglasses on top of my head. I looked over at Nathan and he was getting his hair done. The hair dresser was pulling at his hair with a round wire brush and he looked at me and frowned and mouthed the words "Help me." I laughed a little and walked over to him just as he finished getting his hair done. "I still have my hair right?" he asked. I laughed and nodded. "Yes, you still have your hair." Nathan looked at me and smiled. "Stop flirting and get over here Nathan!" Max shouted. His cheeks turned pink and he quickly left to start the photo shoot.
I sat back and watched as the guys did their photo shoot. They were all like brothers, best friends. That what I love most about them. "Cadence," I looked up and Tom was waving me over. They had finished their photo shoot and Tom pulled me in for a few photos. We all had tons of fun, laughing and jumping on each others backs and having a good time.
"Thanks for coming out, Cadence." Max said, putting his arm around me as we were leaving. "It was fun! I should be thanking you." I laughed. "Movie night tonight? My place?" Tom suggested as Max put his other arm around Tom's shoulders. "Sounds good!" Jay exclaimed. "We're not watching Avatar either." Siva commented. Jay frowned and climbed into the car, sulking the entire way home.
We all had dinner together, then it was movie time. I changed into my favourite pair of pajamas and joined the boys downstairs. Tom was cuddled up with Kelsey and Siva with Nareesha. I looked over to see Nathan on the floor since there were no seats left on the couch. "Coming to join me?" Nathan laughed as I sat down next to him, pulling the blanket over us. We were watching 21 Jump Street, one of my favourite movies of all time.
About halfway through the movie, I started to get tired and Nathan could tell. "Sleepy?" he asked quietly. I nodded, laying down, still keeping the blanket wrapped around me. "That must be uncomfortable...come here." Nathan laid down next to me and put his arm around me, gently lifting my head to rest on his shoulder. He took my arm and let it rest across his stomach. "Better?" I nodded slowly. I tried my hardest to stay awake, I didn't want to fall asleep like this. By the time the movie ended, Nathan was asleep. So I slowly slipped out of his arms and headed upstairs.

After everyone had left, I went upstairs to check on Cadence. She ran up to her room so quickly, I knew something was wrong. I lightly knocked on the door before opening it. I poked my head in to see Cadence sitting up in bed. "You alright, Lovie?" "I'm not dating Nathan, I promise." she quickly said. "I didn't think you were...what's going on?" I walked in and sat on the edge of her bed and she took a deep breath. "I don't want to get close to Nathan, Tom..." I put my arm around her and rubbed her shoulder. "I'll talk to him tomorrow, okay?" Cadence nodded. "Get some sleep." I gave her a kiss on the cheek before heading off to bed myself.
