Spider Five

Peter's POV
I wonder who that girl was last night. Tony's running scans with the two swords she left behind, but so far he's got nothing.

I got to bed around 1 in the morning. I fell asleep almost immediately.

I woke up at the same time. I slipped on my blue button-up shirt and my grey jacket and my dark blue jeans. I styled my hair back and went to the kitchen and got myself some breakfast. Sam was there waiting for me. We went down and got into a car and drove off.

"So, did Tony ever have you drive? I mean, your almost 16."

"Um, no. But I did drive once."

"Really? Who gave you their car?"

"Uh, Flash. It was.... scary." I laughed.

"Why?"

"Cause I was Spider-Man at the time and he didn't know and I had never driven before."

"Huh. So, are you going to invite anyone to your birthday party next Friday?"

"Yeah. I have five people."

"What are their names?"

"Rosia, Cupid, Trixy, Andrew, and Jackson."

"What kind of a name is Cupid?"

"Well, people call her that. Cause she pairs people up. She's also Jackson's twin. But they don't look anything alike. Cupid's gay, and so is Trixy. They're dating."

"Huh. You know, you should invite one of them over today. It's going to be fun. But I can't pick you up, so you're gonna have to take the subway."

"I'm cool with that."

We got to the school and I thanked him and got out. Rosia was ahead of me today.

"Rose! Rose wait up!"

She turned to me and smiled. "Hey Pete! How are you?"

"Just fine. You?"

"I'm alright. My back is a bit bruised though."

"Why is your back bruised?"

"I was helping my dad move stuff and my hands slipped and I backed up into a table."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"It's fine."

They walked up and found Trixy and Cupid making out. Jackson and Andrew were sitting a few feet from them. We went to the guys.

"Hey Pete and Rose! How are things?"

"Pretty chill."

"I have to ask you guys something." I said. I was nervous.

"What's up Pete?"

"So it's my birthday next Friday and my dad is throwing a huge party for it. Do you guys wanna come?"

"Is there going to be free drinks?" Jackson said.

"Um, Kinda yeah."

"I'm there. So is Cupid and Trixy. Even though they're busy. If I'm going to a party, Cupid is there. Vice versa. And if Cupid is at a party, Trixy is there. Also vice versa."

"I'm there too Pete."

"I'll come too." Rose said.

"Cool. You guys rock."

"We don't need to be told that. But thank you."

"Let's all go to science, Yeah?" Rose said.

"Yeah. Cupid, Trixy, let's go!" Jackson said.

"Fine!" Cupid said annoyed.

Trixy and Cupid laced their fingers together and we all went to class. The teacher was already there. We were taking notes.

But everyone was talking in there own groups.

"Hey Rose?" I asked.

"What's up?" She said looking me in the eye.

"Do you wanna come over to my house today? We're doing something fun, but my dad won't tell me what it is. But I can bring a friend."

"Yeah sure. I'll have my mom drive us if you want. Unless you have other plans?"

"I was thinking we could take the subway but whatever works for you."

"You know what? I've actually never used the subway before."

"Really? Oh, they're so much fun!"

"Subway it is! I'll just text my mom to tell her not to come. Will someone give me a ride home?"

"Oh yeah. Definitely."

"Cool! So, where should we meet?"

"You're in my last class."

"Oh, right! Kay."

We both laughed.

It was the end of the day. Rose and I were walking to the subway after the bell had rung. We were talking about absolutely nothing. I paid for our tickets and we got on. The bus we wanted just left, so we had to wait for a few.

"So, where do you live?"

"With the Avengers."

"No way, really?"

"Uh Yeah. I have an internship with Tony Stark and after my Aunt died he kinda took me in."

"So did he adopt you?"

"What? No! Well, kinda. All of the avengers adopted me. Cause I intern for them too a little bit."

"That's awesome!"

"Here's our bus! And now we ride six stops."

"Wow."

"You might want to sit down cause it's your first time."

"Okay?"

I decided to sit by her. We watched as people got on and off until our stop came. We got off and began the long walk home.

"So how long have you been interning?"

"Um about two years now."

"That's cool. So your birthday is next Friday?"

"Yeah. When's yours?"

"It's in October."

"What day?"

"The 31 believe it or not."

"Wow. You're born on Halloween."

"Yeah. So how much longer is this walk?"

"Not that much longer."

As if it was right on time, the house came into view. We walked up and I opened the door and we walked inside. Before we took three steps, there was six darts that nearly hit us. Nerf bullets.

"Are there other kids here?" Rose asked, laughing.

"Not that I'm aware."

There were two guns against the table. I handed one to her and i checked if they were loaded. Very loaded.

"Game on." I said with a smile.
