stop faking it

there's no point

none at all

all that pent up frustration

ignore the demons

don't be frightened

don't get worried

it's my job to ruin you

to test you to the max

but love, you just look so lost

so upset and disappointed

in everything

you're too young

way too fragile

i can't break you

suck the life right out of you

but in all honesty

don't forget how to be happy

how to be consistent

how to fight back

how to smile

how to love

remember everything I've taught you as a child

that was all me

remember this

once you forget how to be happy

lose your inner child
