During first period, Connor leaned against the wall waiting, for his teacher for approval of his project for this semester. In his hand he held a picture he took not too long ago of his twin sisters in D.C and he also held a photo he had taken yesterday.

At first he had been reluctant to use the one of Trenton, but Trenton even encouraged it, and said he hadn't minded.

"Hey Connor, what's that?" Rachel Brown asks, suddenly appearing behind him.

Once upon a time Rachel Brown and Rachel Adams had been the best of friends, almost inseparable. Until one day, something happened between them and they suddenly stopped talking to one another. Connor never knew what happened between them, he always assumed it was some petty girl thing, that happened to so many around here. Rachel Brown even quit cheer. She had recently taken up golf, which was really strange from someone like her.

Like anything though, most relationships die away, either all together disappearing or simply becoming a dull feeling.

Rachel Brown was now the quiet girl, the one who was sweet and would lend a shoulder to cry on to anyone, no matter who they are. In a way, even though it was startling, he liked this knew Rachel Brown.

"Just the semester project. My group's was over the evolution of time. I decided to do it by the nature of photos itself, the change from 'look where I have been' to 'aesthetics.'" Connor says.

"Honestly your photos are the best, I wish I had your talent,"Rachel says in awe.

She looked down at the photos in hand and he hesitated before handing them over to her.

"Are those your sisters?" She asks, referring to the picture of D.C.

"Yeah," Connor replies.

"Wow, they are gorgeous. Honestly, why aren't any of you all models," Rachel says, laughing.

"Uh thanks..?" Connor questions.

"Wow, and look at this one! The beach is beautiful, especially at sunset! Wish you would've added something to the scenery, it would added so much to it, but still it's beautiful!" Rachel exclaims.

"Yeah..." Connor says trailing off.

He stares at Trenton in the photo.

I've finally lost it, Connor thought.

"Hey man, you sure you alright, going to this party and all. I mean after everything?" Jay questions, the same day at lunch.

"Seriously? Now your so called "concerned" about me too? Trying to sign me up for therapy now?" Connor replies, annoyed.

"Chill dude, I'm serious. I know I was being really stubborn the other day, but if you don't want to, I'm not forcing you to," Jay says.

"You chill, dude. Did my mom talk to you or something.? This is not how you act, like at all," Connor says.

"Okay, okay man, just trynna be a good friend," Jay replies.

It seemed as almost the whole school was invited to this party, the student body was buzzing with excitement.

"Dude, I hope the teachers weren't invited, cause even they too seem to be happy, which is a first," Jay says, as they walk back to class.

The rest of the day went by the same as always, classes boring, hard, or both. And of course, Connor almost falling asleep in English, his last  class of the day. Well, could he be blamed? It was the end of the day, he was exhausted, it wasn't his fault he got an old bat who was boring and taught the most torturing subject.

Connor flopped down onto his bed, when he finally got home. Trenton sat down on the edge of the bed.

"Aren't you going to say some wise shit? Isn't that your thing now," Connor says to Trenton.

Trenton sighs, but Connor interrupts him, before he has the chance to say anything.

"What now? Stop and smell the roses," Connor says, snorting.

"How about...screw it and just have fun," Trenton says with a smile.

"Woah, Trenton, getting a little too scandalous over there," Connor says, cracking up.

Trenton jumps on the bed and lays next to Connor and they both stare at the ceiling, silent.

"Well what are we waiting for," Connor says, breaking the silence.

Trenton turns his head to look at Connor, but Connor remains staring up.

"Like you said, let's screw it and have fun," Connor says, smiling.

Because how bad could it really be?
