I dont want to leave

POV: Ellie
The week seemed to flash by. Theo has every day planned out with fun filled activities. Today is our last day before we leave. I keep bugging Theo for us to stay longer but he says he has to much work to do but he will take me back soon!
Tonight was the last night I can wake up to the sun rising over the ocean. Back home in New York the sun doesn't compare to this. The sky burns with firey reds and feverish oranges with bright yellows with a hint of gold that just glistens on the dancing waves of the ocean.
I woke up at 4:30 am to watch the gorgeous sunrise one last time.
Theo woke up surprised to see I was up and at it.
" I thought I would have to drag you out of bed this morning but you already are awake and dressed" Theo says in shock.
" I had to witness the sun rise one last time. If not you would have been spot on" I say while following him into the kitchen.
" what would you like to do before we have to jet off" he asks while eating fruit cup that we had made from all the tropical trees that are on the island.
After taking a little walk on the shore we packed up and got ready for Theos pilot to land the jet. I don't want to leave and go back into humanity.
The short flight back home was filled with me complaining on leaving. Poor Theo, i sound like a toddler throwing a fit. Once we got back to our house Theo went straight in to his at home office to finish off where he left off. What can I say he's an workaholic! Since there isn't anything to do I decided to go change into my swimming suit and go in the back yard and take a dip in our Olympic sized pool. The heated water felt nice against my cold skin. I just laid on my back and floated. I was in my own little mindset.
What feels like hours of me swimming Theo decided to come join me in the pool. He didn't even bother changing into his swim trunks he just striped his shirt and pants off and jumped in in his underwear. He comes up to the surface  and pushes his now damp brown hair out of his face. He swims over to me and gives me a sloppy wet kiss.
" eww Theo stop" I say while laughing trying to push him away as he continues to slobber on my face.
" never I just love you too much" He says while actually giving me a real kiss on the lips.
" there we go. I have my husband back, not some slobbery mutt" I say which makes him laugh.
" hey guess what?" Theo asks me.
" Uhm you decided to quit your job and move off the grid with me on that island" I say jokingly.
" aw how did you guess it" he says sarcastically back to my answer.
"No my parents are going up state to our family cabin and invited us to go. There is a chance of snowfall. Would you like to go." He asks me.
" oh I would love to. But how will you last without doing any work" I say while teasing him.
" I arranged my meetings so that I can do them early. Plus I did all my makeup work straight as we got home." He tells me.
" ok I will love to go. When do we leave". I ask while swimming to the stairs to get out of the pool I'm turning into a raisin. I get out and get a slight chill from the cold New York winter breeze. Theo follows me and says " in 2 weeks " and reaches for my towel and I slap his hand away.
" hey that's my towel." I say while wrapping it around me.
" hey! Now I'm going to freeze to death" Theo says while complaining.
" oh stop being a big baby. You have your big  muscles to keep you warm" I say pinching his check. While opening the door to get into the house. As I walk away I hear him mumbles " yes my  big muscles will keep me warm" mocking me.
I turn around and say " what was that hun".
" nothing dear" He says while following me into the house. I go up stairs and take a relaxing warm shower. Then I hear the bathroom door open " hey theo can you get me my clothes from the closet" I say leaning from the shower.
" i guess" he says and I hear shuffling through the closet.
" thanks babe" I say while turning off the shower.
" I left them on the sink counter" I'm going to go start making dinner." Theo says while leaving the bathroom. I hop out of the shower and dry off and go and see what he picked out for me.
He picked out a nice fuzzy sweater,undergarments and joggers. He knows me well I pull on my clothes and brush my hair and go and walk down the stairs for my nose to be hit by a delicious mouth watering smell. Garlic chicken with creamy rice and wine to top it all off.
" it smells absolutely delicious" I say while walking up behinds Theo as he stands at the stove frying up the chicken.
" why thanks. Dinners almost down so go sit and I'll pour you a glass of wine. " he says while steeping away from the stove to pull out my dinning chair. I thank him as he tucks in my chair. He places a chilled glass in front of me and poured some Château Cheval Blanc my favorite wine!
Once I take a sip my plate is being placed in front of me.
" Theo you are the best husband ever. You are literally perfect!" I say gushing to him.
" only the best for my love" he says while picking up my hand and kissing it. And right here in this moment I can't wait to spend the rest of my life like this!
