Mystery girl has left me in my room alone. The music booming when all of a sudden I hear a commotion going on. I peek out my window and see that people are leaving.
Once everyone has left I hear her voice outside my door talking to someone.
"He's in here, but he is tired and wants to be left alone." She says.
"I'm his friend. If he wants to be left alone then you need to leave. I don't even know who you are! Do you even go to our school?" A voice that is clearly James respond to her. She huffs in frustration.
"Listen. I'll call you a cab and pay for it to take you home, but I'm telling you that you should just leave like all the others." James says.
"I'm not leaving." She says "WAIT I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO IN THERE!" she yells as the door starts to open.
"I don't know what you're hiding but...." James sees me and stops mid-sentence as he does mid-stride.
"It's not what it looks!" She tried to explain.
"Why the heck is there a horse with a horn glued to it's head in Aiden's room? And how did it get here without anyone noticing?" James asks.
"I guess someone is trying to prank Aiden." She says in a sloppy attempt to trick him.
"Where's Aiden?" This question throws her off a little, as she is clearly unprepared to think of an excuse. Her bewilderment makes James suspicious. "Why were you trying to keep me out of here? Did you do this?"
"Why would I do this? I just met the guy last week!" She defends herself.
"Listen, I don't know who you are or why you're here, but either you can tell me what happened and where's Aiden or I'm calling the cops. I know you sabotaged the party by turning the water blue and making it look like someone peed in the pool, but this is too far." James is obviously very upset.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you the truth, so what does it matter?"
"Try me! I can be very understanding at times!" That can't be further from the truth. I mean who would believe that someone could turn into a freaking unicorn! I mean that sounds insane.
"Ok! Fine! That is Aiden!" She says frustrated as she points to me.
He turns and looks at me. "Is that some kind of sick joke?" He turns to her.
"Why would I joke about this? I don't even know him that well! I saw he looked like he was having a headache. I helped him to his room and then he's a freaking unicorn! How is that funny?"
He still is not accepting this. I have to find a way to back her up. I turn and see my press-and-write board I use to help with math. I use my horn to write I am Aiden on it. It took a while to manage and it looks like a toddler wrote it but it's not like I write a lot using a horn on my head.
James reads it and still doesn't seem to believe."How? That's not possible! There's no way."
I go back to the board and write Megan date. He looks and his eyes widen it is the only thing that he asked me to do and only I would know. Realization comes upon him and he slowly backs out of the room. He doesn't say anything else and just walks away. Leaving mystery girl and I in my room alone.
