~ Chapter 9 ~

Elliot's(POV)

I stood there, staring at the thing. I was frozen. My breath uneven and I was scared. The monster killed Luke.

It was all sinking in and I let a few tears fall. They were cascading down my cheeks like a waterfall. I glanced over at Luke's unconscious body and I let out a shaky sigh.

He was practically torn to shreds. "Elliot get away from it!" Crystal said. I suddenly became aware of what was going on and I quietly backed away from the monster.

Zoey I could tell was very frightened. She screamed when she saw Luke like that. It truly was a horrific sight.

Another scream was heard and I turned my attention to Kim, she was the one that screamed. She stood there looking at Luke.

I looked back at the monster and it looked straight at me. Then I thought, Luke dying isn't so bad.

He'll be somewhere clean and kind now. And this world is a disgusting horror show. A Disgusting helpless world.

And he's somewhere clean and kind now, right? I don't know if I'm going to escape this place.

Most likely I won't. But if I do, I'm gonna be deranged. I'll be in a mental institution. Because I'm already loosing my mind.

Edward grabbed me by the arm and practically dragged me away from the monster. "Run!" Edward yelled.

All of us began running, the monster right behind. I was getting tired but I didn't stop. I couldn't. But what's the point in living if you're going to be stuck with crazy people for the rest if your life?

We went inside a classroom in the main building. Luckily, the monster wasn't outside. "Elliot I'm sorry about Luke." Crystal said.

"Yeah you totally don't deserve this" Zoey said.

"Are you alright Elliot?" Edward asked. I nodded. I really didn't want to talk about it.

I turned my attention on the class and I squinted when I saw something, was that a letter?

"Is that a letter?" Edward asked. "I'm not sure." I mumbled. "I think it is." He muttered.

"I'll read it." Kim said.

"I've set all of this up for you. I've been planning my revenge for a long time.... each of you will die. One by one. I'll make sure of it. Don't know who I am? I'll give you a hint. I'm the only person who knew about you coming here.

"Well shit." Edward muttered. I thought for a while but then it clicked.
