Day 2 at the cottage

Riley's POV:

Today me and the guys are going to spend the day down by the water, we packed a picnic and everything even though we were around 15 feet from the cottage. I was helping Harry make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and get all the snacks and drinks together, while the others packed the towels, sun screen, pool floats and a giant blanket along with some other stuff for the campfire tonight. "Hey Riley, I've got it from here, go get ready" "A-are you sure, I-i can help you..." "no it's fine, you've helped enough go clean the peanut butter off your hands and get ready for when we go down to the water" Harry smirked pulling me into a sideways hug not wanting to touch me cause he also had peanut butter on his hands. "o-ok" I finally gave up walking up stairs to mine and Liam's room. I walked over to my suitcase and pulled out high waisted black bottoms and a black bathing suit top that covered across the front with black and white patterned strings dangling from the the top of the suit. I put it on and looked at my reflection in the mirror. I loved the bathing suit but it didn't look the best on me. I hated my body to be honest and I hated my body because the teens from the foster home always called me fat and I started to believe them. Dylan always told me I was skinny but I never believe him cause he was the only one telling me when there were 7 or 8 of them telling me differently. as I picked out every flaw I had, Liam walked in the room, causing me to hurry up and grab the first thing I saw which was Liam's shirt. Liam covered his eyes almost instantly "oh god I'm sorry Riley I didn't know you were changing I promise I didn't see anything,..wait you had your bathing suit on why did you cover up when I walked in?" Liam questioned pulling his hand away from his face. I just looked at the ground not wanting to say, Liam sighed pulling the t-shirt from my hands "Riley your body is perfect just the way it is, and if someone tells you differently, I'll punch them in the face, ok please don't feel like you have to cover up wearing a bikini because you're not fat, at all" i sighed "thank you Liam" "you don't need to thank me for telling the truth" "know, but I want to" I gave him a tight hug feeling safe "well let's go before the lads get impatient" we let go of the hug and walked back down stairs where everyone else was waiting. "Finally can we go now?" Louis complained dramatically, making most of us roll our eyes "well, Do we have everything?" Liam asked everyone "yea buddy! Noooooooooow let's go to the beach each lets go get a wave they say, what they gonna say? Have a drink, clink, found the bud light bad bitches like me, Is hard to come by.." Niall started to sing and dance to starships as we made our way down to the little beach by the water, the rest of the guys joined in dancing with him like the losers they are. when we got to the water we spread out the blanket and put a shoe on each side so the wind wouldn't take it. "alright last one in has to lick Harry's stomach" Louis yelled after we had everything settled. I didn't want to lick Harry's tummy so I booked it for the water. "Ha Niall you have to lick Harry belly!!!" Zayn laughed "No I don't!" "You were the last one in the water" "no it was Liam"everyone started arguing "alright! Alright, fine I was the last one to get in the water I'll lick Harry's belly" Niall gave in, slowly walking over to Harry and licked his stomach "I did it, happy now?" He said walking away from Harry and the guys all cheered. As Niall was walking away he looked at me "hey what's on your left side?" I looked at my left side and saw a black and blue mark, one of my bruises, I gasped, completely forgetting about my busies thank god my other bruises were on my thighs and my thighs were under water "I, uh I..ran into..the counter last night going to grab a glass of water" Niall stared at me putting his hands on his hips, and I prayed to god he didn't questioned it "clumsy girl" Niall poked my nose and walked by, I looked at everyone else and they shrugged it off to, I mentally sighed in relief but Liam he was giving me an unsure look. I know he's going to be talking to me about that tonight

~~later on at the campfire~~

We were all sitting around the campfire eating s'mores, singing songs and just goofing around. I was really starting to feel comfortable with these guys, we were playing truth or dare when I felt like I had to pee "hey guys ill be right back, gotta go to the bathroom" I got up but got stopped by Zayn "aha you just don't want to get picked for truth or dare" Zayn smirked giving me a wink "no I really do need to g-go" "you sure about that" "just let her go before she pulls a Harry and pees on the side cause she couldn't keep it in" Liam said and Harry took offense "Hey I really had to go ok" I giggled walking off to the cottage and went to the bathroom. I was about to walk back out but got stopped by my phone ringing in mine and Liam's room. I rushed over to see it was Dill but was to late to pick up so I called him back.
