Liam's POV:
everyone was enjoying the Mac' n cheese Harry made for us, when I excused myself from the table to go to the "bathroom" when I was really just going to go call Dylan. I gave the lads the 'look' and they all slightly nodded knowing what was going to happen. I walked to our room and searched for her phone. Finding the phone on her suitcase, I unlocked it and went to her contacts finding Dylan almost instantly cause she only had 6 contacts. I clicked on his contact and it started to ring. I pressed the phone to my ear waiting for him to pick up the phone. it didn't take long before this Dylan kid answered.
D: "Hey R!"
R/L: actually Dylan, this is her brother Liam"
D "..oh, umm..a-am I in trouble?"
I chuckled at the nervous boy on the other end of the phone.
L: "actually no, I'm calling to say thank you for being there for Riley, helping and protecting her all these years when I wasn't able to do so"
D: "I'll always be there for Riley, I'll never stop caring for her even if we're miles and miles apart"
L: "..can I ask you something Dylan?"
Dylan's POV:
"I'll always be there for Riley, I'll never stop caring for her even if we're miles and miles apart" I said into the phone meaning everything word.
L:..can I ask you something Dylan?"
D: "uh s-sure, w-what do you wanna know?"
L: "...would you like to come for a few days to our cottage? I called the foster home and they said it would be fine for a couple of day as long as we brought you back "
I froze at his words. Was he being serious? I started to stutter a bit and nodded my head, because I was speechless. after a few minutes of nodding my head, realization hit me and I mentally slapped myself cause he couldn't see that i was nodding my head so I stuttered a yes.
L: "alright, I'll get the private jet to come and get you in the morning, so pack tonight and I'll send a guy named Paul in the jet. He'll have a sign with your name on it, so look for your name"
D: "alright..and uh umm..(clears throat) t-thanks Liam.."
L: "I'll text you tonight so you can text me when you land, see you tomorrow"
He hung up the phone just like that. I clutched the phone against my chest and smiled. 'Im going to see Riley tomorrow' I thought to myself as I got butterflies in my stomach. my phone vibrated meaning I had a text. I unlocked my blackberry and clicked on my messages, only to see that it's from an unknown number.
"it's Liam, text me when you land. Someone will be out front for you at 5:45am so be ready "
I replied with ok and night. I added him to my contacts then walked over to my closet and grabbed enough clothes for three days, even though I was only staying for two, I packed another shirt and shorts just In case I spilled something and it landed on my shirt or shorts. I packed a pair of sweats for bed and grabbed my tooth brush and hair brush, putting all of the stuff in a duffle bag ready by the door. it was already midnight, so I set an alarm for 5, and went to bed even though I was too excited to sleep considering I got to see my best friend tomorrow :))
