Mike POV

As I was laying down I felt Ashanti get out of bed.

"Where you going?" I asked sitting up and stretching. It like 6 in the morning. "To get me and Justin some clothes." She said slipping on my hoodie and the tights she had on.

"I'll take y'all." I said getting out of bed. She shook her head."nah I got it. Where your keys?" She asked putting her hair up in a bun. I looked in my pants pocket on the side of the bed and threw them to her.

"I'll be back." She said walking out the room. I followed behind her."I can't get a kiss?" I asked. She rolled her eyes and shook her head continuing to walk down to the living room where Justin was. I grabbed her waist and kissed her lips. "Move!!"she said blushing and pushing me off of her. I smirked and walked back upstairs.

It's way to early and I'm tired as hell from last night. I wonder did they find anything yet. I'll stop by later on I guess.

I looked at my phone and noticed I had a missed call from my mom. I called her back to see what she wanted. She answered on the first ring.

"Hello?"

"Mike!!"
I moved the phone from ear. It's early and she already yelling.

"Ma why you yelling?" I asked.

"Boy don't play with me. Why Cayla called me crying last night where were you?"

I sighed."I was at the trap. They needed me."

"Mike Cayla doesn't know you're in the game. You can't just up and leave like that in the middle of the night." She said lowering her voice.

"I know ma. I'll make it up to her. " she sighed and there was a silence.

"So who's this girl Caylas been telling me about? She really likes her." I could tell she was smiling in the phone from ear to ear.

I smirked."she's talking about my girlfriend Ashanti."

My mom yelled in the phone and again I moved it away from my ear.

"When can I meet her baby. I'm so happy my baby found a baby oh my gosh I gotta tell your father."

I laughed."maybe we can stop by later but ma I'll call you later I'm tired."

"You need to get your lazy ass up out that bed!!!"

I sighed "alright ma bye love you."

"You ain't gotta rush me off the phone. Bye."

And she hung up.

I laughed. She didn't even say she love me too. As I was about to go use the restroom my phone vibrated. It was a text from my mom.

"Love you too baby boy 💕😘."

I laughed and continued going to the restroom. As I got done using it. There was a knock on the door. I washed my hands and walked downstairs to the front door.

They knocked again. "Hold on!!" I yelled. Luckily I didn't wake Cayla up. As I opened the door my heart dropped to my stomach and I became speechless.
