Mike POV

"Kim what the hell you doing here?!?" I asked annoyed. Me and Kim will never be on good terms no matter how hard she try.

"Mike I work here. I seen them wheeling you in and I was worried. I just wanted to show respect and bring you flowers. Is that such a crime?" She huffed setting the flowers she had with her on the stand next to my bed. "Thanks.." I mumbled. I heard Shanti mumble something but I didn't understand it. Kim has her moments where she's cool but her and shanti don't quite get along. I hope she don't start nothing with my girl in this room.

"Cayla you can't speak to your mom?" She asked walking towards her with open arms. "Hey mama.." Cayla said hugging her with a big smile on her face. Seeing my little girl happy only made me happy. Ever since Cayla came back from spending time with her, she's all she talked about. Kim still has a little sneaky side in her and I'll never trust it.

"I miss you already baby girl." That last part made me scoff. Shanti hit me upside my head, causing it to throb once again."Why you hitting me? She didn't even speak to your mean ass." I joked elbowing her.

"Funny.." She mumbled rolling her eyes. I kissed her cheek laughing at her cute ass.
"Mommy come on. I'm ready to go.." A little girl ran in tapping Kim's leg. She looked about 4 or 5. She had the same texture hair as Cayla including the skin color. I hope this little girl is adopted and Kim didn't leave me too fuck around with another nigga. Me and Shanti glanced at each other and back at Kim.

"Baby girl I told you to wait outside." She said nervously. I'm not gone lie that little girl looked exactly like Cayla. They could be twins if you ask me. "Ma who that?" Cayla asked with furrowed eyebrows. The room was silent. Surprisingly my mom didn't come back inside to see all of this. With her nosey self. She must've left too pick up my nephew for school. Today was supposed to be Cayla and Justin's first day but I guess they can miss today and go tomorrow.

"I'm Tierra." The little girl said hugging Cayla who had a confused expression on her face. "This your daughter?" Cayla asked after looking at the girl once again. Kim nodded fixing the child's hair. "Kim I think you should go.." Ashanti said looking at Cayla who looked as if she was on the verge of crying.

"Baby Gir-"

"Can you just go.." Cayla said walking towards Shanti with tears in her eyes. I attempted to sit up and comfort my baby girl but I just couldn't. I was getting madder and madder seeing Kim's face. First you lie about your Damn death and abandon your child. Then you go and have another little girl leaving your oldest one motherless?

This the shit I'm talking about with Kim. "Mik-"
"You should know not to say shit to me." I said cutting her off. She sighed and grabbed Tierra's hand. "Mommy why she cry?" She asked. Kim didn't say much but walk out the room with watery eyes.

"Daddy why would she do this to me? Am I not a good girl?" Cayla cried. "Am I not what she wanted?"
I shook my head at the stuff she was saying. I finally managed to sit up, no matter how much pain Im in. My baby needs me and I'm going to be here for her. "Princess you're a great girl. You don't need her. You got me, nana, papa, Shanti and Justin. You'll forever be our favorite little girl and only." I said holding her with my free arm as she cried in to my chest.

"But she kept her..why didn't she want me?" She asked finally drying her face. I sighed and just hugged her. "Cayla we love you. You don't need her big titty fine self." Justin said laying his head on top of hers. Shanti thumped him in his ear,causing Cayla to giggle. "There's that smile." Shanti said tickling her.

She sat up and hugged her. "I love you Shanti...." Cayla said kissing her cheek. "I love you too mama's, I'm always here if you need me." I smiled and watched them two hug.
