Chapter 6

Yangguang's POV

"Chen Linong?" our homeroom teacher, Mr.Kim called. "Where is Chen Linong?"

I stared at the empty seat beside me and sighed. He must had a fever.

"I'm here!" a voice made me looked up, and without me realizing, I smiled.

"Chen Linong, you're late," Mr. Kim said.

Nongnong showed a confused face. So Mr. Kim looked at me and I immediately knew what he meant. I looked at Nongnong, "He said that you're late."

"Ahh sorry, I had some problems just now," Nongnong said and I translated to Mr. Kim.

"Okay, next time please don't be late again," Mr. Kim said. I translated to Nongnong before he bowed and took his seat beside me.

I looked at him and noticed his pale face. I whispered, "Are you sick?"

He smiled, "Eh, just a little fever. It will be gone soon."

"But you look so pale," I said, worried. He got sick because of me anyway.

"It's fine, Yangguang," he reassured me with a bright smile.

Author's POV

"Nongnong, are you feeling better now?" Xukun asked as he put the food tray on the table and sat down.

Nongnong nodded and sat down too, "Mhm, way better."

A minute later, Chengcheng, Justin, Xinchun and Xikan joined them.

"Kun-ge, can I have more meat?" Chengcheng asked as he stared at Xukun's food. "They gave me too little."

Xukun laughed, "Alright alright! Take as much as you want."

Chengcheng beamed, "Thank you, Kun-ge!"

"By the way," Chengcheng said while chewing his food. "Do you guys want me to tell you a secret?"

"Not interested," Justin said.

"Aish, listen first! It's about Nongnong!" Chengcheng whispered.

"Me? What secret?" Nongnong raised an eyebrow.

"Do you guys know why Nongnong got a fever?" Chengcheng asked.

"Because the rain was pouring on him," Xinchun replied.

"No, not that!" Chengcheng shook his head. "He got poured by the rain because he was sacrificing himself for someone."

"Wait how do you--"

"I'm the Agent J, Fan Chengcheng!" Chengcheng said, acting serious and made a gun gesture with his hand.

"Okay okay, continue please," Justin stopped him from getting any weirder.

"And do you know that someone?" Chengcheng whispered, eyeing every single one of them.

Nongnong looked flustered, "Chengcheng, don't--"

"Ai Yangguang," Chengcheng revealed and wiggled his eyebrows.

"Ahhh, the girl you talked about last time!" Xinchun clapped once.

"Who is Ai Yangguang?" Xikan asked, clueless.

Xukun was just smirking, looking at Nongnong with a teasing smile, "Ehm, Super Nongnong was saving someone~"

"No, I'm just being nice!" Nongnong denied.

Xukun smirked even more when he saw the girl they were talking about was a few metres away from them, searching for a place to sit.
