Snotlouts point of view
1 week after hic woke up, hes been learning hand eye coordination and now 2 weeks hes been learning to walk and stand, at the moment hes a little wobbly and keeps falling over after the second step, but today he got to his fifth step, hes pretty happy for himself
“co c c cous cousin cousin, i m ma made my 7th step today”
Hic was so excited i didnt want to tell him it was only 5 steps, i was sitting with Astrid watching hic walk with his trainer Aster, hes a nice guy, Australian and has afew tribal tattoos, even at 30 hes got grey hair
Astrid was sitting closer to me than she’s ever sat before, on the arm rest her hands were so close to mine, we were almost holding hands
“Ast, As, Asterix, w w wa watch m m mee!” hic seemed so happy, he walked in a circle, nearly tripping, but he laughed, i look to Astrid who was happy for hic, but she and i knew despite him saying her name wrong, he knew who she was
After about an hour he started to look tired, he seemed to go on longer now, lately hes been training for 2 hours, but today i think walking in a circle wore him out alot
We let hiccup get some sleep in his ward, and I took Astrid home
“thanks Sean, for being good to hiccup, i really hated you for how you made him feel, but i get a feeling you’ve always felt awful for what you were doing”
Yep, trust Astrid to say it how it is, all along i guess i did feel bad, i guess i just did it to stay popular with Jackson, but now i see Jackson is a dickhead, I don’t care about popularity anymore, not with that fuckwit anyway!
“yeah, i guess i was a cunt wasn’t I?”
“yeah, you were, but now....”
I looked at her, and she leaned over and kissed me on the cheek
“see you tomorrow Snotlout” she said as she got out of the car and walked up to her front door, she looked back and waved, i smiled and waved back and drove off
She kissed me on the cheek..... I couldn’t help but think about her all night
