Today was the last day of school. "No more 7th grade!" Im currently hanging out with Jennifer and Jessica my two bestfriends. We were staring at the clock, counting down the minutes until our freedom. 3,2,1 BRRRRIIIINNGG! We all ran out of the class like our life depended on it. I told Jenni and Jessi that I couldn't hang out today because my mom needed me home. I hugged my girls goodbye then started walking home.

I fished the key out of my bookbag to unlock the door. I was so relieved to finally be home. I dropped my bookbag on the floor and made my way to the kitchen to see if my mom was here. She wasn't here yet so i went up to my room. I looked in the mirror. I ran my hands through my shoulder length brown hair. It was my favorite thing about myself and my chocolate brown eyes. I texted Jenni and jessi about hanging out tomorrow, maybe to the park or to see a movie.

I fell onto my bed dreading the day 8th grade starts.
