This time I only did my makeup because my hair was already in braids
I got my backpack and rushed out the door
I saw Zach's car waiting for me.
I opened the door and closed it very loud

Someone then and there texted me
It was Shawn.
'Had a great time yesterday. Are you going to answer my question about the party this Friday?🖤'
'Yeah I think I might go😊'

"Who was that?" Zach asked
"No one!" I said quickly
"Ok..?"
We arrived at school.
I got out of the car and ran to Ella.
"Ella!!"
"Hey Jas!"

She sounded sad mixed with mad
"What's wrong?"
"Oh, Carson broke up with me"
"Oh my gosh I'm sorry"
I came in and hugged her

The bell rung
"Ok, meet up after class??"

I went to my first class which was English and had Shawn as my partner
I got into the class and sat next to Shawn

"NO TALKING WHILE YOUR WORKING!!!" Shouted our teacher
