Being the new girl always sucks.

Well, that's what most people would say and to be honest, I agree. I've never been a new girl until today. It sucks.

Even though I've only been here for five minutes I can tell it's going to suck. I can feel peoples disgust towards me. I don't blame them though. I am wearing a grey hoodie, black jeans, and my converse high tops. Not what they usually see around here I'm guessing.

I reached my locker and opened it up, struggling at first. I grabbed the things I needed for my classes and closed the door. I have a math book in hand, a journal, and a pencil. Unless the teacher sucks at doing their job I don't need any other books. The only reason I have my math book is because I will suck at math no matter what. Nothing can stop it. The teacher can be the best in business and I still won't get it unless I try another thirty times.

As I walked to class I had my head down, making sure I didn't bump into anybody. I was fiddling with my worn out bracelet on my hand and thinking about what I was going to do after school.

I guess I wasn't paying close attention because I collided with someone else.

"Sorry," I mumbled as I fell back from the crash. Suddenly, all eyes were on me. I could feel them burning a hole in my hoodie. I looked down and noticed that the guy was wearing vans.

"Watch where you're going," the guy snapped back at me and I bit my tongue so I wouldn't say anything stupid. "Who the hell are you, anyway?"

I moved around around him but was quickly stopped as he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me back, keeping his hold firm.

I kept my mouth shut as he asked again and he tipped my hood back. My eyes widened and I looked up at him in shock. Our eyes met and it felt like it was all in slow motion. I heard everyone gasp and I pulled my hood back up.

Time went back to normal as I rushed away from the scene and got to class. Thankfully, I didn't drop my things and my class wasn't too far away. I sat down in a vacant seat at the back and put my stuff down. I put my head down on the desk and sighed. This is just amazing. I already made trouble and on my first day too.

I raised my head from the desk and slumped back into my seat as the bell rang and the teacher got up from their desk.

"Good morning, everybody! Today we have a new student! Ivy, can you stand up please," the teacher cheered and I groaned to myself.

I hastily stood up and the teacher clapped.

"Now I won't make you present yourself but can you please put down your hood? Its against the rules here," I let out a sigh and bit my lip. I would rather introduce myself.

I could feel my peers eyes on me and I hastily did what the teacher told me to do. I heard the faint gasps come out of everyones mouth, including the teacher.
