Chapter One- New Beginnings

As soon as I found out about moving to LA I freaked out. Yeah leaving would be hard but my life was very stable. I had many friends, but never got into any serious relationships. As much as I'm going to miss my friends in Kansas, I think this new beginning will be great.

"Laney come down here!" My mom yelled as the guys who brought the moving truck over placed the last box in the back of the truck and rolled the door down, locking all of our belongings inside. "Coming!" I yelled and took one last look at the room I would never see again, the room that held many memories and late night talks and sleepovers in.

As I walked down the steps, I gave one last good bye hug to my friends Hyla, Mallory, and Victoria. They were all going to come out and visit me in a month so I new this wasn't our last goodbye. I took one last glance at the house and walked out of the front door as my mom locked it. I jumped in the car with my mom, dad, and little brother, rolled down my window to watch as my friends stood on my lawn and waved as we headed to the airport.

~At the airport~

The intercom went off saying our flight number and hopped in line to get on the plane. The flight attendant took my boarding pass and I walked through with my small backpack filled with my laptop, phone, iPad, and beats headphones. I took my penny board that was stuck in-between my back and my backpack and set it on the floor. I turned the wifi on and started looking through all my social networks. I saw a few tweets on Twitter from the original Magcon guys and some of the O2l members and smiled. I knew I was moving to LA so I would probably see some of them, well not all considering that O2l is moving out. My mom sat next to me and started talking, I couldn't hear her because I was blasting Kid Cudi. I just nodded and smiled pretending to hear her until she gave me a confused look. I pulled the left side off of my and said "What was that? Sorry I couldn't hear you." My mom rolled her eyes and starting taking again about how I'll love it there and everything. She said we were going to be living in an apartment until the house my family is building is done. I went back to listening to my music when she was done

~At LAX~

The plane ride lasted about 3 hours and by the time we got there I was ready to pass out. Considering that the wifi cost money I kinda didn't want to waste it. We all had carry on so we went strait to the cab that took us to our apartment that had our car and everything ready. The movers had come 3 days earlier so that most of our large furniture was already there for us when we arrived.

~At the apartment~

The car ride lasted about 45mins then we arrived at our apartment. I got my phone out and started walking to the building then remember that I had my penny board so decided to ride that instead.I almost reached the door until I bumped right into someone, not watching where I was going since I was in my phone. "Oh my god I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there! I should probably pay more attention." I looked up and saw a boy that looked about 17 or 18. He had piercing blue eyes and a brown quiff with blonde streaks in the front. He was cute but not my type. "Nah it's fine. Nash." He held his hand out to shake. Wait, is this THE Nash Grier. I must have hit my head hard or something.

"Laney," I say shaking his hand, "so you like live here?" I said in awe knowing the answer already "Yeah, Cameron Dallas and I just moved in about a week ago." Pointing behind him to show Cam, the Jack's, Carter, and Matthew. "Oh cool. Aren't you the viners?" I ask dumbly. "Yeah,"Matt said coming up next to Nash, "so you new?" He asks pointing to me "yeah I movedhere from Kansas" Matt points to my board, "you ride?" I pick upmy penny board, "yeah, my aunt taught me when I came to Venice Beach 4 years ago." I say as I reposition my beanie on my long brown hair."So how did you know that we were viners?" Cam says as he walks up behind Matt and puts his hand on his shoulder, "Uh, um... Well I mean you're all that my friend Hyla talks about so I've seen a few of you're vines," I say blushing a little, "yeah sure, I know you're a fan" he says smirking. I get butterflies in my stomach and knew Cameron has an impact on me. He smiles one of his gorgeous smiles and I almost melt.

Carter walks up to Cameron and says, "hey do you guys wanna go back up to the room?Maybe show, Laney is it?," I nod my head yes and he continues, "we'll show her around?" I nod my head yes again and follow them up to Nash and Cameron's apartment. We all hop in the elevator and find that they are at the very top. Cameron stands next to me and I get the butterflies again. I was standing next to THE Cameron Dallas on the way to his apartment! As we start up we are probably to the 5th floor and hear a sudden creak. The elevator stops and we all sigh, except for Matthew. Who seems to be freaking out just a little bit. I turn around and try calming him down. As I'm calming him down someone on the intercom says the maintenance guy is on his way but with the traffic it could be a few hours. "Well, we're gonna be here a while. Wanna play a game?" I say and all the boys nod their heads in agreement. I text my parents to tell what's happening and they answer immediately that they will be in the room waiting for me and to stay calm. "How about we play truth or dare?" Johnson says and all the guys nod in agreement and I just go with the flow.

~Still in the elevator~

"Well dares won't be fun but whatever, let's just play." Nash says, "Laney truth or dare?" "truth" I hear a couple of the guys say 'boring' and I just laugh, "have you ever kissed a guy?" "NO!" I immediately respond and all the guys boo. "Um, Cameron. Truth or dare?" "Dare" he responds smirking "I dare you to follow my friend that I was telling you about on Twitter and let's see if she calls me freaking out" his smirk drops a little and I tell him her username and clicks follow. I immediately get a phone call and I hear her laughing and crying at the same time I tell her that I'm with most of the guys and of course she doesn't believe me. I send her a video and she screams. All the guys laugh and say that when she visits they will all meet her. She starts crying again and says bye. The game lasts a little longer until it was Gilinsky's turn, "Cameron truth or dare?" "dare he says" shaking just a little, while Matt was huddled together with Carter so he wouldn't have a heart attack, " I dare you to kiss Laney. On the lips. For 30 seconds" my face feels hot and can tell my cheeks are read has well has Cameron's. "Uh, well, uh... Okay?" "Sure I say back half smiling. As he starts leaning in I think, Am I Seriously About To Kiss Cameron Dallas? Then it happens. His lips tough mine and they are soft to the touch. I've never kissed anybody so I feel like I'm doing it wrong, but I then figured just kiss back so I do. He puts his hand through my hair and pulls me closer leaving no space between our bodies and I fall onto him on accident. He laughs through the kiss and then I realize that people are watching this. I pull away and start blushing, "I'm so sorry Cameron! I didn't mean to fall on you!" I say turning my head in the opposite direction, "it's fine. It added a little bit of spice to the kiss." He says smirking again. We hear another creak and a slight jolt and make our way up to the floor.

~On the 8th floor~

Well this is our apartment right here Nash says pointing to the room right next to ours. "No way! I'm right next door!" I say pointing to my left. Then Cameron does the inexplainable, he whispers in my ear and grabs my hand, "Now we can kiss more often." I smile and walk into their apartment.
