Chapter 5- Lost then Found

*Laney's POV*

I wake up again in Cameron's arms and hear a knock at the door. I run to answer it and see that it's Aaron. "Hey are you guys ready to go?" I start to freak out, oh shit wasn't Vidcon today? "What time does Vidcon start at?" He looks at his phone, "12:30. It's 11:45 right now and the place is about 45 minutes away." I turn around and scream, "GET UP! WE GOTTA GO!!" All the guys and my friends jump up and immediately get ready. Cameron gets out of my room and still has no shirt on, "hey babe can you please not yell?" God he has a sexy morning voice! "Cameron we gotta get to Vidcon!" He wakes up to that and flips out heading back into my room and coming back out with a shirt on and his phone in his hand.

~At the Venue~

We arrive and get out of the car. All the girls are with the guys and Cameron has his arm around my shoulder. Great. That gets a few stares from the other fans and I get a few disgusted looks and continue to head inside.

There's a huge flood of girls out of nowhere and I get trampled. Cameron lets go of me and a wave of fear goes over me. All of the girls are crowded around him and I'm just another face in the crowd for a second. A security guard comes to get Cameron and I'm left with the others.

I'm outside trying to convince the security guards that I'm one if Cameron's friends but he doesn't believe me. Another hour or so passes and I see Shawn walk outside with Mallory. "SHAWN! MALLORY! Come over here and let me inside!" Shawn jogs over and grabs me before anybody else can get to him and brings me inside.

I find Cameron and he looks worried, until he sees me. "Where were you?" I roll my eyes and walk away. He runs after me, "Laney what's wrong? I tried to call your name but I couldn't see you and a security guard pulled me inside! I couldn't do anything!" I scoff and say, "Cameron I just got TRAMPLED by about 75 girls! If this is what it's going to be like everyday then I don't want it." He looks hurt then smirks, "can I make it up to you for a date?" I've never been on a date, "sure."

~Vidcon is Over~

I'm sitting in my room deciding what to where, Cameron didn't tell me any details just to dress kinda nice. He said maybe a sundress, so a sundress it is. I go I to my closet and find a high-low dress with a chevron top and decide to where that with my jean vest and white vans. I put my hair in wavy curls and grab my phone. I hear a knock at my door and Cameron walks in.

He has a cute short sleeved button up, khakis, and red vans. "You ready?" "Yeah!" He pulls my closer and kisses me. Ugh, why do I have to get the butterflies every time he does this? Hyla yells from the other room, "GET IT!" I blush and he smirks. He does it again but this time longer, "HEY, TONE DOWN ON THE PDA!" Victoria yells from the living room also and Matt kisses her, "hey this is my apartment, if you don't like it then oh well! And Matt just kissed you!?" She blushes, "ok, I see your point..." I laugh and

Cameron puts his hand in mine. "So you gonna tell me where we're going?" He laughs, "yo Taylor, give me a bandana?" Taylor get up and kisses Hyla before grabbing it, he hands it to Cameron and we walk to the car. He places the bandana over my eyes and we head out.

30 mins later we stop, he slowly carries me bridal style out of the car and walks me to wherever we're going. "Okay, now you can look." I remove the bandana and see a cute little picnic. I like how he does just little cute things, he's not into trying to impress me and I like that. I give him an 'awe' and he just blushes. I give him a quick kiss on the cheek and we go to sit down and eat.

We mainly just talked about little things until he brought something up, "tomorrow, this time, after Vidcon, beach, we are staying there all night." I raise my eyebrows and try to look surprised, "you sure? I have this slight feeling that we will either get shot or mugged!?" He laughs and falls onto his back, he rolls back up and nods his head, "trust me!" He takes my hands in his and I nod ok.

Around 9 p.m. I get a call from my parents saying they are staying a little longer because of the condition my grandpa is in. They said they won't be back until Friday so that means I have a whole week alone. My little brother is with them so I don't have to babysit, thank God! I tell Cameron and he says, "yay! Now I can stay for a whole week!" I laugh and nod my head.

We start to pack up when I feel a water drop land on my cheek. Oh no. It start to fall faster until it's a downpour, at least I only wore waterproof mascara! He starts laughing and so do I! He picks me up and spins me around then sets me down. He cups my face and leans in, he's taller then me so I reach up to him on my tippy toes and he kisses me.

We picks me up bridal style again and he runs to the car and puts me in. "Laney I have a question." I could tell what was coming next, I got butterflies all over again. I nod my head and he continues, "you are one of the most beautiful and down-to-earth girls I have ever met, and I want to be able to call you mine. So, uh, will you be my, uh, my girlfriend?" He stutters and I feel like I wanna cry from happiness. I pause thinking, what about the hate?

"Yes."
