My heart is encased in stone,
Bitter love it cannot condone. When you came I can see through,
All the sadness they've put on you.I'll take it away, if you don't mind,
Make it into a rainbow that's one of a kind. But before you do, break this stone.
Which bitter love it cannot condone. And so my heart it beat more lively,
And blooms like a rose, yet more shyly. Then you took a hammer and smashed the glass,
This impossible love cannot last. And so there grew this tougher stone around my heart,
Afraid to get torn apart.
