Hi! I just want to share this very simple cover of mine that I did on my phone (in minutes!) I did this just to show that you don't have to get super great tools and/or software to make a decent graphic. It's just a matter of creativity and experimentation.

The image above is the finished cover. As you can see, it's very simple and I really like it that way.

Now here are the stages on how I came up with the final image:
1. The original image. I got it from Unsplash. Really straightforward picture of a cupcake against a white background.

2. I opened Image Editor and create a canvas with a size of 512x800, which is the standard Wattpad cover size. Then, I inserted the image on top of the canvas and cropped it to show just the half part of the cupcake. I saved it and opened the saved image in Snapseed and slightly adjusted the brightness, contrast and saturation.

3. I opened the Phonto app and inserted the text. I used the font style Emily's Candy-Regular ('cause it's a sweet font in my opinion) and aligned all the texts to the right.

4. I opened the edited image in Image Editor and drew some broken lines to outline the cupcake and some cutesy hearts on some letters.

5. I opened the edited image in Snapseed. There I overlayed the original cupcake image and adjusted the opacity and as you can see, it def put some interesting effect to the text and gave a faded cupcakey thing to the background. I also adjusted the sharpness of the image. Then, when I'm already satisfied, I just saved it.

There we have it! A mini tutorial (of sort). Yey! I hope someone find this helpful.
