They soon reached shimla and the cottage as expected was small, cosy but beautiful from outside as it was located on a hill and had a magnificent view of scenery. As their luggage settled in and they reached the balcony of cottage which overlooked a valley as well as beautiful mountains , ishita became hopeful that this place along wid her efforts wud do the needful for raman. Besides being beautiful there was serenity abt the place, a sense of calm which soothed the mind and body of a person and she smiled and went in to see raman already settling down to sleep and as she did not want to pester him just then , she decided to let it go but not before bringing in a glass of milk and forcefully making raman drink it.

Morning rays brought new hopes and challenges for ishita but for raman everything was as dull as before. Although he cud not refuse that change of place did calm his mind a bit but he cud not get out of his guilt much apart from that. For the full day ishita tried to pester raman to talk to her , told him stupid jokes, things abt ruhi or anything that she cud gather hoping for a reaction from him but she never got one. Raman kept listening to her and neither acknowledged her nor scolded her and went out of the room and sat in small hall connected wid a tiny kitchen.

Ishita decided not to give up till she succeeds and slept thinking abt what she wud next day. She decided to show raman that someone loved him and cared for him and he had to smile and live for them.

Next morning as raman got up, his ears got alert by ishita voice singing

Apni aankhein khaali kar de

Aaj tu meri aankhein bhar de

Aaj tu meri aankhein bhar de...

His sleep was forgotten and as he sat up on bed, he saw ishita freshly showered wid a sweet smile on her face stepping into the room wid his bed tea and breakfast. She came towards him and sat on the bed infront of him singing

Mere yara tere gham agar payenge

Humein teri hai kasam hum sawar jayenge

Hooo mere yaara tere ghum agar paayenge

Humein teri hai kasam hum sawar jayenge

She gave him tea and fed his breakfast herself and as he was too engrossed in looking in her eyes, she wiped some food which had stuck on his lip lovingly and said

Do yeh saugaat tum

Toh zamaane ki hum
