Chapter 4

As marshal said his goodbyes to bubs, Jacob walked into the house setting down his stuff. He patently waited for marshal to come inside.

“marshal! Come on what do you want for dinner?!” Jacob screamed from the kitchen sounding like a girl with a manly voice.

“pizza!!” marshal returned the scream entering into the cool house. Setting down his guitar case gently, and hurling the bag onto the couch.

“homemade or carry out?”

“ouu! Carryout!” marshal giggled happily jumping up and down onto the plush carpet beneath him.

“ok” Jacob replied as he grabbed his phone and dialed the pizza parlor.

“yep, 2 cheese one peperoni” Jacob sat down on the couch but immediately getting up and setting marsh’s guitar onto the floor and bag on top of the guitar.

“it’ll be here in 20!” Jacob hollered once more.

“ok!!” marshal ran down stairs grabbing his bag and guitar case hauling them 4 steps up when he stopped.

“you goanna practice again?” Jacob questioned marsh as he searched the channels on the big flat screen mounted on the wall above there old looking fireplace.

“yep and study for our midterm exams, you should to Jacob even though u don’t need to you just pass automatically.”

“ok lil bro will do” Jacob sighed as he finally stopped his repeated clicking to find his show. Marshal slowly trotted up the last 8 stairs; hobbling down the short hallway dragging the bag and case on the floor.

“yeah!” marshal screamed when he saw his room had a few new boxes in it.

“what?!” Jacob yelled smiling at his little brothers reaction. All you could hear for the next 2 minutes where a rush of elephants down the stairs as marshal tackle hugged his sitting brother.

“hay! Don’t break our only good couch!” Jacob chuckled hugging marsh back.

"Thanks brother…” marsh crocked out

“ok don’t cry, go open them!” marshal gave Jacob one last hug and ran back upstairs. Still sounding like a herd of elephants. He rushed into his purple room spotted with band posters and drawings on the walls. The dark grey hard wood floorboards shining a bit with a white soft plush carpet with small tuffits of rainbow colors here and there in the center of his floor. Panting heavily setting down his stuff next to his bed, there he saw three boxes wrapped in gift wrap. Walking to them he saw a big rectangular blue one, a wide yellow one and another long wide green box.
