"{Y/N}~" A voice that you loved to hear cooed into your ear. Your eyes fluttered open as you awakened. The first thing you saw was none other than Taehyung who had allowed himself inside your home with the key you had given him months ago. It took you a couple of seconds to fully wake up, rubbing your eyes sleepily in order to fully regain consciousness. A gentle and loving smile brightened up your features before you excitedly wrapped your arms around Taehyung, latching on to him.
"Baby !!~" You exclaimed earning yourself a chuckle from your boyfriend. You tugged on him, signaling for him to lay down besides you. He took that invitation gladly, but in an unexpected manner. He pretended to lose his balance, allowing himself to fall atop you. A shriek escaped your lips and you wriggled beneath the tall male. He had began to tickle you, nuzzling your neck and smothering you with kisses. You gasped for air in between laughter, doing your best to escape his loving hold on you.
"T-Tae.. hyung !! I-I- st...op-p !!" You managed to get out in between bouts of laughter. He finally let go of you, taking a seat on the bed besides you. A pout had now taken place upon his handsome features.
"But {Y/N}.." He whined, but the glint of amusement in his eyes never ceased. You shook your head, leaning in to place a soft but quick kiss upon his rosy lips. He giggled like a small child, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close to him.
"I missed you so much..." He whispered as he began to play with your hair. You laid your head on his chest, a happy sigh emitting from you.
"I missed you too.." You mumbled, a sudden wave of protectiveness washing over you. You never wanted to let him go. He was yours and yours only to love and to hold and he knew you were fully his. But deep down, you were aware of the fact that he wasn't only yours. You were aware of how dangerous you were; the impact you could leave on his career. He belonged to his fans, to this celebrity life that you were unfamiliar with. You could never be a part of that part of his life because you could wreck it completely.
Taehyung and you had been dating for about four months now, but outside of your home, you were basically nonexistent to him. He couldn't be seen with you or there'd be an uprising in the BTS fan world. A scandal, as the news would most likely put it. Tae had been risking so much just for you. This placed a lot of pressure upon your shoulders. Not just pressure but guilt. With every kiss, with every hand hold, with every forbidden embrace, guilt washed over you because you were constantly reminded that your whole relationship was a huge risk that Taehyung was taking.
You had fallen silent as you reminded yourself of the hazard you were and Tae had taken notice. He cupped your face, tilting your head upwards to meet his eyes. Your eyes met his worried gaze. A small frown adorned his features.
"{Y/N} why are you so quiet all of a sudden??"
You did your best to avoid his concerned eyes and leaned into his touch. A sigh escaped you.
"Nothing, I'm just wondering how we've managed to keep this whole secret dating thing under control." You let out a nervous laugh but there was nothing funny about the situation. Taehyung huffed, his hands trailing down to rest upon yours. He gazed down, looking at both your hands intently.
"It's been.. a struggle. But I've made it clear many times before. I love you and I'm willing to take the risk."
And like many times before, his words reassured you. A meek smile formed upon your lips and you gazed down at the way your hands touched. His fingers seemed restless next to yours but you loved the feeling of his hands brushing against yours. Suddenly, his hands cupped yours and he brought them up to his lips. He placed a gentle kiss on your hands before speaking once more.
"{Y/N}.. I.. I'm sorry it has to be like this. It pains me that I can't show you off to the world. You're so perfect and I got so lucky to have you but.. I'm scared of the hate you'll get if the world finds out we're together.." He explained his fears once more to you. You swallowed hard, his words sounding bittersweet in your mind. You shrugged off the sensation and looked back up at him, a loving smile lighting up your expression.
"I know. Thank you for wanting to protect me.." Your sincere words seemed to have immediately cheered up your boyfriend for he, now, had a dorky smile that replaced the frown from before.
"One day {Y/N} {L/N}.. I promise you. One day we'll live in peace and I'll be able to show you off to the world..." His words were soothing to you as he pulled you down to lay on the bed next to him. He snuggled up close to you, allowing you to feel his chest rise and fall as he breathed. You smiled to yourself, closing your eyes and imagining a future with the male who's arms were wrapped around you. One day... one day you will be more than just a forbidden embrace to him.
