something's going on.. || chapter 5

Joel's POV

"Just know that I'll be waiting here, for you." I heard Y/n sing. She was singing happier, I would know since it's one of my favourite songs. But the question is why?

Lizzie's POV

I saw Joel looking at Y/n while he was leaning on her door frame. I was downstairs and I was about to go to my room but I saw Joel. He was just looking at her. "Hey Joel! Can you bring Y/n down? Dinner was ready 5 minutes ago." I say. I think he needs to spend time with his little sister. Y/n and me are very close, closer than her and Joel. "Okay.." Joel said. I went downstairs and sat in the table.

Joel's POV

I pretended to open the door and go in Y/N's room. "Hey Y/n.!" Y/n looks at me a bit embarrassed. "Oh- hey Joel.!" She says sheepishly.

Y/n's POV

I just finished singing. I think I should start a YouTube channel. I nodded at my thought. Joel came in and said "Hey Y/n.!" I think he heard me so I'm pretty embarrassed. "Oh- hey Joel.!" I say sheepishly. "Well, Lizzie said dinners ready." He said. We both walked down and sat at the dinner table. We finished dinner and I just went to my room.

Joel's POV

Y/n is usually bubbly and talkative. But today she was quiet. I know that somethings going on..She knows strictly that she cannot date a boy without my permission, I know that I might be a bit strict but I'm just an overprotective brother that cares for Y/n. Lizzie not so strict.

Lizzie's POV

I have never seen Y/n so quiet. She looks sad. Why would she be sad? Was it over a boy? Was it at school? Was someone bullying her? Joel would be furious either way. But it's only because he cares about her. I head upstairs to Y/N's room and knock on her door. "Come in.." Y/n says. "Hi.." I say while I start to sit on her white bed with blue dots. "Do you want to talk?" I ask putting my arm over her shoulder. "Mm hm." She mumbles. We talked about everything she wanted, She liked Owen but he had a girlfriend. She told me they spend a lot of time during lunch together. She likes him but she doesn't know if he feels the same. I tell her that he should like her because she's amazing! She's kind, smart, bubbly, talented. The list could go on. We talked and talked until Joel came in. "I'm gonna go to sleep, Lizzie?" He asked. I nod. I wave goodbye to Y/n and she waves back. I head to Joel's room and sleep beside him.

Y/N's POV

Me and Lizzie talked. It was good and nice. It was stood to let everything off of my chest. Joel came in and Lizzie left. They did say some stuff but I zone out. I was thinking.
