"Will you-" someone from behind cuts him. "OWEN! OH MY GOSH! Your here too?!" A small girl hugs him. He looks surprised. "C-"

AND NOW...

"CHLOE!" He says happily. He turns around to hug her tightly, since she was short he could pick her up. My face expression changes from confused to sad. I start to walk away and head to my next class. I feel a hand try to grab me but I just pull away.

~at math class~

"Let's first consider what we learned before in Quadratic Equations and Equations of Higher Degree, so we can better understand where complex numbers are coming from." Miss Tou was good at teaching. She was good at her job in teaching us about complex numbers. Math is one of my favorite subjects. "A quadratic equation has degree 2 (the highest power of x is 2) and we can have either 2 real roots, one real repeated root or something that involves the square root of a negative number." Soon we were checking our homework. "The equation we are given (

a
t
2
+
b
t
+
c
) is a parabola and we are told to describe what happens when we change c (the y-intercept).
From what we know about functions and function translations, we know that changing the value of c will shift the entire parabola upwards or downwards, which will change not only the y-intercept (in this case called the "h intercept"), but also the maximum height of the parabola as well as its x-intercept (in this case called the t intercept). You can see this in action when we raise the value of the y-intercept of our parabola." Miss Tou said. She was explaining first the equation and how to solve it.

(If you want to keep reading the lesson and the homework keep reading if you don't look for bold letters that say: Class Over!)

"First let us set up the equation we are told—that the product of
c
and 3 is
b
.

3
c
=
b

Now we must isolate
c
so that we can add its value to 3.

3
c
=
b

c
=
b
3

Finally, let us add this value to 3.

b
3
+
3

Our final answer is E,

b
3
+
3"
Yes! I say in my head getting the equation right.

"CLASS OVER!" Miss Tou said. I grab my textbooks, binder and backpack and head out. "Ah! Miss L/n.. can I speak to you?" Miss Tou said. Was I in trouble? I nod and walk over to her desk. "I've been noticing lately that you sketch on your notebook a lot and when I walk around I get a brief view of it and I would like to see it." I nod and give her my notebook. "Wow! This is amazing! Are you considering on joining the Fashion Class?" In our school we are allowed to pick 1 class that is different than other classes, like fashion or theater. Kinda like clubs. "Well, I'm not sure yet because I want to take swimming." I loved swimming every time my family would go out to the beach I would try to persuade them to go swimming with me, I'll take any chance to go swimming. I was pretty advance as I took classes on the summer. We had until Wednesday which today was Monday. "Well you should definitely try out fashion. You have beautiful and unique designs, and last year you had the best sewing skills!" Which was true, I did have good sewing skills but I didn't really consider it. "I'll think about it.." I say smiling. She nods and gives me my notebook back. I head out and it was finally the last period, Art. We got a free period to do anything so I got my notebook and started sketching.
