Midnight had come around, and still no sign of Jenny. Ethan sat alone in the apartment, flipping through today's pictures. He began to think that Jennifer wouldn't come home tonight. She'd work overnights sometimes.
Ethan fell asleep alone.

*shuffle* *shuffle*
Something was moving.
Ethan woke up to feel Jenny's arm wrapped around his waist. He looked up at the clock, it was 4:38 a.m..
"Hi"
"Hey"
The two layed in bed. Ethan was still half awake and half asleep. Till Jennifer asked
"How was yesterday?"
Recalling everything very slowly in his mind "I got a hug......and...and printed pictures...". Ethan's struggle to talk made Jennifer smile. Knowing Ethan was sleep again she flipped him onto his right shoulder. Then she pulled his sleepy body towards her chest saying "goodnight, Bunny".

The sun came out Around 6:30. Ethan was still being smothered by Jennifer. It was Saturday. Ethan kept "mmmnnm" in his sleep, and jennifer kept listening. To her, watching Ethan sleep was much more satisfying than her actual sleep.

About 2 hours later the two were dressed and ready to go. They headed off to the Sunset café. They went every Saturday, the owners are quite fond of the pair.
The curved booth at the end of the shop was the usual spot for Ethan and Jennifer to sit.
That was the spot were Ethan had his first date with Jennifer.
In the beginning Ethan had no intentions on sharing his feelings with her. But she could sense the heat from Ethan's cheeks. And the week after, Ethan got his first kiss.
Then a month later....he lost his virginity.
Those memories started coming back to him.
"ETHAN!" Jennifer had been calling him.
"Huh?" Ethan said after snapping out of his daydream coma.
"What did you do yesterday?"
"What do you mean? I told you."
"Why did you get a hug?"
Ethans coffee started to kick in, and his sleepy brain was waking up.
Ethan began to explain everything that happened two days ago. The drive, the shots (pictures), and the kiss.
When Ethan looked back at Jennifer...she looked....plain. "what?"
"Ethan, that's not ok. Hes like 30 and you're 16!"
"But you're 18 and im 16--"
Jennifer cut him off.
"No no, that doesn't matter. You and I are 2 years apart. He and you are like 14 plus years. Hes a pervert, Ethan."
"He said it was an accident, he drank."
"Oh bunny, if I were to run over a person and say it was an "accident". That I was drunk. Would you forgive me?"
Answering truthfully...
"No."
"So can you forgive him?"
Ethan could see she was waiting for an answer.
"Yes--"
Jennifer had the look on her face,
"Because he didnt kill me."
Ethan had to think of a reason, if not...his ass was grass.
"Ethan, I love you. And you know that right?"
"Yes"
"So I want you the best for you. And I dont like your boss. He's a creep, Ethan."
"Ok...ok I'll be more "careful". Does that help?"
Ethan had surrendered. The devil hath no power over a woman's wrath.
"No"
"No?"
"Ill be happy when you pay the bill."
Ethan smiled and said ok.
Arguments were rare for them. Ethan usually lost all of them. He did what Jennifer wanted, she did what he wanted:
A functional relationship.
Then Ethan asked "does you boss have a nickname for you?"
"Sometimes she calls me beauty."
A name that reflected her deep blue eyes and gold blond hair.
"Why?"
He answered,
"cuz he calls me boy, kid, and darling. Is that ok?"
"2 out of 3."That didn't really answer Ethan's question. But, she said it in a soft tone. So it sounded ok to him.
