Jimin POV"

I woke up later, as my slumber seemed like it lasted only seconds. Checking the time on my phone, I wasn't too surprised to find that only several minutes had passed by in my sleep. Looks like I wasn't tired enough to stay asleep, even with as tired as I felt.

So I had just decided that I would have to lie awake, yes, lie awake with my thoughts. Of course I was going to have to accept the fact that reality, as of now, wasn't really the best for me, but I had to live with it, with however long I have left that is.

Well on the brighter side, socially my life is going fine and thinking back to how strong my friendship with Yoongi is, I didn't feel too lonely outside of my home cause he always stuck by my side.

Thinking back on how Yoongi and I became friends, it was a rather funny story actually, but an interesting one nonetheless

-Flashback-

Biking through the empty streets, the wind blew in my face as I continued on my journey home. I was biking as fast as I could before I passed my curfew. I wasn't even supposed to be out, I snuck out of the house because I was trapped all day. It had only been a few minutes and suddenly there was a shadow in front of me.

I in fact did not know that it wasn't a shadow. The problem was that I realized a little too late, that the shadow in front of me was in fact not a shadow but a person "Hey! Watch out!." I yelled out to the stranger in front of me hoping that they would hear and move out of the way quick enough.

Before I could properly try to avoid the incoming problem, I crashed into this stranger, causing me to fall off my bike, leaving the guy to carry the weight of me as well as my bike. "Dude get off me!"

I quickly got up and then took my bike off the guy as I tried to help him up "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, are you ok?" I looked to see if he seemed injured in any way

"Watch where you're going next time man." and with those last words he began to walk away. I waited a while before heading away too, seeing as he was going in the same direction I would  be heading, I didn't want to end up in an awkward situation.

So I got on my bike and began to pedal slower than I did before in order to avoid him. I continued to bike along that path only to realize that we were still heading in the same direction all the way.

At this point I don't seem to mind too much as the thought of my curfew came to mind. I then began to pedal faster, trying to make sure that I am able to get home before I were to get in trouble. So I ended up speeding past him, this time careful that I didn't run him over a second time.

I eventually got home the minute before what would be considered past curfew. Stumbling into the house after putting my bike away, I quickly made my way to my room and picked up a bunch of stuff, pretending to be doing something.

"Jimin!" I heard my mother calling as a set of footsteps began to get closer and closer to the closed door leading to my room, I grabbed something out of the items I gathered and then pretended to set it somewhere else.

Just then my mom burst through the door and called my name once again "H-Huh? Oh hi mom." I tried playing it off, thankfully I didn't take out my earbuds when I got back, so I could make it seem like I wasn't hearing her.

"Jimin, I've been calling you for a while now. You gotta go take out the trash and bring some of the groceries inside." I nodded and watched as her eyes darted to my ears "Maybe if you stopped listening to music so loudly then you'd hear me." she spoke with a playful tone.

Thankful that I didn't get in trouble I put down the things in my hands and then walked out of my room. Getting downstairs I grabbed the trash bag and walked out the door, taking it to the giant garbage bin outside on the driveway.

I dumped the bag inside and then was on my way to walking inside then I heard some shuffling and looked around. My eyes landed on a figure, the figure seemed familiar. "H-Hey you live here?

He looked over and I was right, It was the same guy from earlier "Yeah, and?" he said a little harshly, probably thinking about what happened earlier.

"W-Well I'm sorry about earlier." I tried apologizing, trying to make it seem sincere but he only looked away and walked into his house. I stood there slightly confused before heading into my house

-End-

I sighed out loud, chuckling at that memory of how me and Yoongi eventually became to be best friends. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the door downstairs slam shut and my father called out "Jimin, we're home."

Getting up and out of my bed, I walked out of my room and then walked down the stairs, feeling a little better "Jimin, Yoongi's here to sleep over." my mother said as she saw my figure at the bottom of the steps.
