Dan twirled a knife in his hand, playing with it.

"Dan?" Phil poked his head into the room. Dan jumped, quickly hiding the knife behind his back and under the pillow which he had been resting upon; rubbing his eyes, "hey! What's up?" his voice sounded a bit hoarse. "Just wanted to check if you were alright?" Phil pondered. "I'm fine... w- why?" Dan stuttered. Worry started to pulsate through his veins... The worry that Phil might find out what was wrong.

"Can I come in first?" Phil asked. Dan just stared at him, confusion filled his face as he tried to register what Phil had just asked.

Dan suddenly shook his head, closing his eyes and breathing out, "um... yeah... sure, sorry about that!" Dan apologised. Phil chuckled as he came into Dan's room and sat on his black and grey quilted bed.

"You haven't been acting right lately... I just wanted to know if everything's alright?" Phil explained. Dan held his breath for a second, "yeah... I'm perfectly fine," he hesitated.

Phil frowned, he didn't trust what Dan had just told him, "Tell me the truth." Dan just glared at Phil a little, "I'm sorry... what?" He asked, genuinely confused. "Tell. me. The truth. I know that you hesitated. Something's not okay. You're not okay and I can tell!" Phil demanded slightly. "I'm... perfect fine..." Dan could feel his throat closing up as he tried to hold back tears. Right now, he wasn't in the best mood for conflict... especially with Phil.

"Do I have to kiss you to make the truth come out?" Phil demanded. "No- WHAT?!" Dan had just realised what Phil had just said and gone bright red.

"What?" It seemed like Phil had just realised what he had just said because he went bright red. Dan chuckled, "You'll have to force me to make the truth come out!" Dan teased, smirking.

Phil grabbed Dan's shirt and kissed him.

Dan's eyes widened and he kissed back then quickly pulled away, "PHIL! YOUHAVEAGIRLFRIEND-" Dan blurted out. A boiling anger built up in his stomach and he looked down.

Phil let go of Dan's shirt and laughed slightly with his tongue through his teeth, "I wasn't joking..." He mumbled.

Dan sighed then admitted that he was lying, "No... I'm not okay... I've been having these psychotic thoughts... they've been telling me to do things I don't want to do... but I've almost given in multiple times over the past few days..." Phil sighed, "what do the voices tell you to do...?" "kill someone..." Dan mumbled in shame, not looking up once at Phil.

Phil looked down, "I can stay with you for now to keep you company?" Dan nodded slightly, "I'd like that... I don't want to feel alone any longer..."

Phil smiled and cuddled up next to Dan, pulling him into a hug.

Dan rested his head on Phil's chest, wrapping his arms sideways around Phil's body. He didn't care right now if Phil had a girlfriend or not.

Phil pet Dans' chocolate curls head of hair. Dan hated his hair being touched but it was enough for him to know that he wasn't alone.

"Can I ask a question?" Dan mumbled slightly. "Um... what is it?" Phil had guessed it was going to be about the kiss. "Do you like me? I know you have a girlfriend but I'm just really confused..." Dan asked hesitantly. "Well... kinda. I'm bi! I don't know if you already knew that?" Phil tried explaining. Dan just froze, "You're bi!? I thought you were fully straight!" Dan exclaimed. "Says the person who's literally hard to put in a box" Phil mumbled jokingly. "Wanna say that to my face?" Dan laughed.
