Dan was walking to the kitchen to put the knife back in the drawer when he heard talking from Phil's room. He saw the door was slightly open so he decided to secretly listen and watch what was going on, peeping through the crevice that the gap between the door and the doorframe made.

Amy was standing in front of Phil, arms crossed. Phil was sitting on his bed with his legs crossed, looking away.

"Tell me what happened!" Amy demanded. "Nothing... what do you exactly want to know anyway?" Phil timidly asked. "Are you questioning me? I'm demanding to know what happened between you and Howell!" Amy said in an almost yell. "Quiet down... Dan might hear... and plus, nothing happened. Nothing happened between me and Dan. We just had a normal conversation. That's all," Phil said in a slight hiss. Amy laughed, "are you actually being serious? I want to know if you or he forced the two of you to do anything! Or are you just trying to protect that faggot from my fist to his face-" Amy yelled.

Dan clutched the handle of the knife and his eyes narrowed in a sudden surge of anger but forced himself to not burst into the room.

Dan could see Phil's face change from timid to angry within seconds.

Phil quickly got to his feet and grabbed Amy by the shirt and slammed her in the wall, "DON'T YOU EVER FUCKING CALL DAN THAT AGAIN! OR IT MIGHT END WITH MY FIST TO YOUR FACE!" Phil screamed at her, "EVER SINCE I INTRODUCED YOU TWO TO EACH OTHER, ALL YOU'VE DONE IS BEEN MEAN AND HEARTLESS! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF IT! DAN HAS TOLD ME WHAT HE'S SAID TO YOU! HE'S KNOWN ME LONGER THAN I'VE KNOWN YOU!" Phil screamed. "But he was being mean to me! Did he actually tell you the truth! Did he actually tell you what he said!?" Amy tried to say.

"'Don't you fucking touch Phil or it won't end well!' 'You do anything to Phil to make him feel uncomfortable or hurt in any way, then I will kill you personally!' 'Next time that happens, I will kill you without any hesitation!'" Phil said, in a mimicking voice.

He didn't mean to sound mean but he was so angry; he didn't really care, "I'VE HEARD IT ALL! DAN IS OVER-PROTECTIVE! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO ACCUSE HIM OF BEING CRUEL! ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN MOUTHING OFF ABOUT HIM! I KNOW DAN! YES, HE MAY SAY THIS OR DO THAT! MAYBE HE'S NOT IN HIS RIGHT TO DO SO! BUT YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL HIM THAT! ANYONE THAT FUCKING CALLS ANYONE CLOSE TO ME SOMETHING OFFENSIVE, OUR FRIENDSHIP IS OVER!" Phil screamed with a lot more anger now.

"I'm guessing you love the faggot then, don't you!" She laughed. "So what if I do! I didn't tell Dan what you were saying because I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO GET ARRESTED! Sure, Dan may have made me bi but so what! At least he cares about me and my well-being instead of bossing me around! And I swear, if you call Dan a faggot again, this is not going to end well for either of us!" Phil hissed.

"So you do love him... jesus christ. How many gay assholes are there around here?" Amy muttered.

"At least I don't have to worry about you being constantly on my back now!" Phil hissed, "Because this? This thing between us? It's over! I love Dan and not you, so STOP TRYING TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" Phil demanded in a scream at the end.

Phil let go of her, "get out of this apartment! I don't want to ever see you again!" He demanded.
