People trying to meet month's end
A world full of cruelness
It's a dark and lonely place
This world we live in
People stepping on people
The weak being hurt
Pain being spread by hate
Love being crushed by distrust
Can't we just all agree
The world would be a better place
If we'd all look at each other
And realize the good
We spend to much time
Looking for the bad
We focus on things like greed
When we should focus on love
There's bad in all of us
Just like there's good
There is a little light in all of us
It just needs a some help to shine
If we all looked at the good
And stopped searching for the bad
Maybe we'd see
There is a little light in all of us
The world would be such a better place
If we were to spread hope
Instead of hate
If we were to spread trust
Instead of lies
Wouldn't the world be so great?
No matter how you look at it
No matter how you see it
There is a little light in all of us
It is always there
An ever burning flame
This little light inside of us
And this little light
This tiny little light
This little light that is inside all of us
It gives me a sense of pride
To know this little fact
