So yeah I said this book was over and I am still holding my word. But this is for a friend, so I'll make an exception.

Life is such an odd thing when people actually take a  little time to consider it that is.  Most times it seemed like a huge event had to happen to some so they would even acknowledge the fact that they where alive.  For Jacquelyn acknowledge life was never a problem. The problem was how she did it. In the eyes of the 22-year-old life was nothing more than a tunnel of torment and endless suffering. Some days (or nights) people tend to feel the weight of the world more than other days. Today was one of those days for Jacquelyn.

She sat there on her bed staring into what one could only describe as nothingness. She looked the was an old doll would when it was no longer used for playing. When the reason for it's exciting had ended and the sole reason for their still being somewhat functional was due to its beauty.  Slowly a low creaking noise filled the dead silent room. "Oi you in here Jacquelyn?" a Brazilian boy asked. The frozen girl slowly lifted her dark brown orbs to meet the alert honey colored eyes of the man standing in her door frame. A part of her wanted so desperately to answer, but another part of her- the dominate one- ordered her to keep quiet, and so she obeyed.  To her dismay, the dark-skinned boy didn't get the message. He invited himself in plumped down beside her on the large bed and stretched his long skinny legs in front of him. "something on your mind girl?" He asked a hint of playfulness behind the semi-serious tone.  The female brunette just turned her gaze and stared at him, then shook her head as if trying to rid herself of the trance.

"You ever look back on your life Montes?" She asked after an eternity of sitting there and just staring. The boy next to her nodded his head. "You ever think why we're even here in the first place?" This time he shook his head. "My life's not one I take pride in thinking about." Xever finally said.  "What you think's mine was all sunshine and rainbows." The girl responded relatively annoyed. Xever shrugged "In my defense, you never really talk about your past  hell I don't even know how you even get into the foot clan." A small lifeless smirk appeared on Jacquelyn's face. "Buckel up Xever cause this is one bumpy ride."

Jacquelyn p.o.v

As a child life was never glamourizing for me. Mother, father and I lived on the poor side of New York. Our house was small made up of one small living room and two smaller rooms attached to either side of it. The decor was also nothing much. A warn out Couch with a small table placed in front of it. A refrigerator and stove to the far left and a small TV to the right. I don't really remember my parents room except that it had a much bigger window then mine did. As for my room, it was so small that there was almost to breathing room. My bed (as small as it was) took up almost all the space. Other then a bed there was a tiny closet where my limited clothes where hung. The walls were a decaying white bare the one family photo of my tenth birth taped to the wall closest to the head of the bed.

Friend wise I was fine, back then there really wasn't  "popular kids" or "outcasts." I think the whole neighborhood put together there would have been seven kids my age. In all honesty, we were something like a large family. If one family had a little extra cash they would make sure the rest of the neighborhood had decent meals for the night. As a kind this was the only life I knew, living rock bottom nothing to lose but the life we were given. But it got worst! On my sixteenth birthday my father left, mom said he found a nice wealthy wife some where else. And bame he was gone like we never even exsisted in the first place. But it's life it keeps on going even when you scream "Stop I need time to figure things out". Things get worst and they don't stop coming. One night my friends and I where going to sneak into the terribal building we called a school and take somethings to sell for food money. But one friend - a close one too- suddenly dicided he was too good for all of this. Suddenly he had morals and knew right from wrong. And he had the nerve to tell me what to do. Long story short we got into a fight, I pushed him on to the street. We didn't see the car entil it was too late. Not knowing what to do my other friends help me hide the body and lie to his parents. We told them he ran away took some cash and left us. They went crazy after that.

Alomst four and a half years later my dad came back. You had to see what a haughty personality he had. Interduced me to some guy named Stephen. He some how proswaded my mother to let me marry this guy. After the marraige all hell broke lose. The guy was crazy watching people bleed infront of him made him feel pleasure. Couldn't take it any more so one nigth I waited until he was asleep and then strangled him. It felt so dame nice feeling his life leave his body and knowing I was the cause of it. Like someone just gave me the nobel prize. After that I pockted his cash and started a life as a thife for hire.

Normal p.o.v

Xever stared sadly into Jacquelyn's eyes. "I'm so sorry for you" he mumbled. In one swift move he wrapped her up in a tight hug and started patting her back. Jacquelyn had long since given up on trying to keep her tears at bay and was letting theme lose now. As the night went on Xever and Jacquelyn cuddeled toghther.
