Chapter 1

Today is the day I meet my future family. I don't know if I'm ready for this change, but it's happening whether I'm ready or not.

"Hurry up, Y/N!", my mom called from downstairs. "We need to get going".

My mom is marrying her boyfriend, Lee, in two weeks. We're heading over to his house so that I can get to know him and his kids. I've met him a few times before, but I've never met his kids. I hope they're little kids that I could babysit! I've always been good with kids.

Mom talked about her fiancé during the car ride to his house. From what I've heard, he's rich and sweet. I hope Mom is telling the truth.

I couldn't believe it when I saw Lee's house. It was huge! I guess Mom was right about the rich part. This will be my future house since we're moving in with him, and I will gladly savor this luxury.

"Welcome, welcome!", Lee greeted. "How are you two lovely ladies on this fine evening?"

Yikes. He talks like a grandpa- looks like one too. Mom said he was in his forties, but he looks way older. I guess he just didn't age well.

"We're great, dear", Mom replied. "This is Y/N, but you've met her before".

Lee held out his hand and I shook it as I greeted him.

"Hello, Y/N!", Lee told me. "I'm Lee, if you forgot my name, but you can call me Dad!".

I didn't really want to call him dad, no offense to Lee. I just didn't think he could replace my dad up in heaven.

"Are they here, Dad?", a voice from inside the house asked.

"Yes! Come on out", Lee responded.

As soon as Lee spoke, his sons came out of the house. I couldn't believe my eyes. 7 ridiculously hot boys were standing right in front of me.
