Three friends sat in a dark basement, engaged in a video game session. Their names were Kyle Christopher Taylor, Scott William Foreman, and Tony Dale Ogle.
"How the fuck did you kill me there?" exclaimed Scott. He gripped his wavy auburn hair in frustration as his glasses slipped to the end of his nose. "That's the most fucking retarded kill I've ever seen."
Tony chuckled at his friend's anger. He ran his fingers through his brown hair and drummed his knees with his hands habitually. "That was pretty damn great."
"I'm just too good," Kyle boasted, scratching his goatee as his dark brown curly hair refused to settle.
Scott smacked Kyle across the face in rage, sending him sprawling across the cold basement floor. "Don't be a cunt, you little bitch," Scott warned.
These three young men were no ordinary teenagers. They were the sons of the three gods. Kyle, the eldest, was 18, on the shorter side, the son of Blazing A, and referred to as the Red Man by the planet's inhabitants due to his deeds during the battle against The Man. Scott was four months younger, tallest of the three, the son of The Doctor and known as Doctor Potty by the people. Lastly, Tony was 15, the son of Tired Kitty, and known across HROT as the Deacon. Though only young friends at first glance, these boys once saved their entire planet from the greatest force the universe had ever seen—Dakota Frink. Their deeds made them legendary, but they forsook a heroic life in favor of an ordinary existence among the people. They preferred to be left to themselves and enjoy each other's company, primarily through video games.
Now, Kyle slowly got up from the floor, and before he got a chance to retaliate, a ghostly apparition appeared in front of the television. Scott instantly recognized this being—it was his father, The Doctor. "Father, why have you come?" Scott asked in confusion.
"I've come with a warning," his father explained. "A terrible power has been unleashed upon our universe, and we are now in grave danger. The Man's father, known as the Warnger, overcame my strength and forced his way into our dimension, and now he is attempting to awaken the Creator."
"Is my father keeping him at bay?" asked Kyle.
The Doctor nodded, then turned to Tony with a despondent face. "I am sorry, Son of Kitty, but your father was slain in the initial attack. He could not withstand the Warnger's power."
Tony's gaze sank to the ground in sorrow. He collapsed to his knees and clenched his fists as he fought to hold back tears. "The Warnger will pay dearly for this."
The Doctor turned back to his son and Kyle. "Without the peacekeeper, war is bound to break out throughout HROT and the rest of the universe. You must prepare yourselves. I fear this will be an even grimmer conflict than The Man Incident."
The Doctor gripped Scott by the arms and looked into his son's eyes. "I must go and warn the rest of the universe. I will be watching this conflict unfold. If ever you should need my assistance, I will always be there, watching over you boys."
With that, The Doctor vanished again. Scott, Kyle, and Tony were left to ponder what their next course of action should be, and when the foreshadowed conflict would begin to arise on HROT.
A short, black-haired female entered the basement aggressively, with an annoyed look on her face. "How much longer are you guys going to be playing?" she asked irritably. She was Pore, girlfriend of Kyle, who was zealously protective of her quality time with him. Despite her diminutive nature, her glare and fiery attitude struck fear into even the bravest men. And now, Scott and Tony had been taking more time than they'd been allotted with their friend Kyle.
"Don't you remember?" Kyle asked with a weary sigh. "This is my weekly day with the boys."
Pore's glare intensified, causing the three friends' hearts to pound warily. She growled in anger, turned around, and started to head back upstairs. But then, something odd stirred within her. Instead of accepting this minor annoyance and continuing on like usual, she felt a sudden, uncontrollable drive to take what was hers for herself, at any cost. Tired Kitty's grip on her had faded.
Pore slowly turned around, and her menacing glare returned to the boys. She approached them, and with her powers of mind manipulation, she uttered in a low voice to Scott and Tony, "Sleep now." With that, Kyle's two friends instantly lost consciousness and inadvertently cuddled each other on the couch.
Now, Pore turned to her significant other. "You're coming with me," she growled menacingly. Unable to withstand her mental force, Kyle surrendered to her will and followed her upstairs and out of the house. Where she took him, no one knew.
An hour passed. Slowly, Tony and Scott regained consciousness. Tony had drooled all over Scott's face and smeared his glasses. As Scott wiped the saliva with his shirt, Tony scratched his head in confusion. "Where the hell is Kyle?" Tony questioned.
"Pore must have taken him!" Scott exclaimed angrily. He wasn't about to lose his friend. He would go to any means necessary to get him back.
"This is war," Tony announced. "It's time to get the group back together."
"We must summon all of our allies to get him back," Scott agreed.
With that, Scott and Tony stormed out of the house and prepared to go about making their war plans and gathering their old friends and allies.
