What Should I Call These Butterflies?

Episode 14

 I tooked Jungkook's hand, and we left.

Without looking back. 

On the way back it was dead silent. We made our way to my house already when Jungkook broke the silence. 

Jungkook: "Y-you could've told me you were cold. We could've gone home .." 

I stopped, and turned to face him. 

Y/n: "No. It was your first time experiencing rain anyways. I shouldn't ruin it." (I gave him a warm smile.) 

Jungkook: "But - but you could've gotten sick." 

Y/n: "So? Sickness is just temporary, anyways. I would've been good as new sooner or later." 

He placed his hand on my forehead. 

Jungkook: "You are still too cold." 

Y/n: "Yah - I'm not-" 

He hugged me. No, more like he was holding me very tightly. I slowly melted into his arms letting him hold me. 

Jungkook: "I-I don't know if I should mention this right now .. but I really want to know." 

I figured he was going to ask this. 

Y/n: "Don't worry. I won't be sad. Ask me." 

Jungkook: "O-okay." 

He stayed silent for a little. Hesitating. 

Y/n: "I know what you're going to ask. It's about Taehyung ... isn't it?" (I looked up at him.) 

He slowly nodded his head. 

I gave a gentle smile. 

Y/n: "Yeah ... he's my ex-boyfriend." 

Jungkook gave me a confused look. 

Y/n: "Like we were dating .. hmm .. how do I explain this ... when someone likes another person, and that person likes the other person too ... they start dating. Getting to know one another more. Until they really know each other. If they are meant for each other ... then they will get married. If not they break up ... and that's what happened to me and Taehyung." 

Jungkook gave me a sad look. 

Jungkook: "That must've hurt."  

Y/n: "It actually didn't. We just weren't right for each other, so we just broke up." (I looked out to the sidewalk, where it was still pouring.) 

He looked out as well. We both stared into the rain. Until suddenly ... 

Jungkook: "I hope I will never become your ex-boyfriend. I want us to be right for each other." 

I was surprised my his words. (I turned to him) 

Y/n: "W-what?" 

Jungkook: "Isn't that what best friends do?" (He looked at me) 

Oh ... best friends. Haha. What was I thinking?  

I turned back to the pouring rain, and so did Jungkook.

Y/n: "Um ... no? Taehyung and I were something different, something more than best friends. Best friends are a little different." 

Jungkook: "Oh .. then what do best friends do?"

Y/n: "Hmm .. they care for each other. Help each other out. Like a brother and sister. But they don't have that weird feeling towards each other." 

Jungkook: "What is that weird feeling?" 

Oh man. How do I explain love to him? 

Y/n: "You will know it when you care for someone more than you care for yourself, and your heart starts to beat really fast when you're with that person. And that person is never out of your mind ... something like that."
